La verdad que muy buena experiencia, mi primera vez en un voluntariado, flexibilidad en cuanto a los horarios, siempre se respeto la carga horario de trabajo, el echo de voluntariado 4hs da la oportunidad de conocer otros lugares y a su vez no terminar cansado, las tareas son simples y sencillas, aprendes el trabajo en equipo, aprendes a realizar cobranzas Check-in y checkout, en fin un buen trato con dueño y gerente y compañeros en general. Recomiendo

Tive uma experiência incrível neste hostel! Desde a chegada, fui muito bem recebido pelos voluntarios, que foram sempre simpáticos e prestativos. O ambiente é acolhedor e descontraído, ideal para quem gosta de conhecer novas pessoas e trocar experiências. Recomendo muito para quem busca um lugar com boa vibe

It says that they want English speakers but majority of the guests and team only speak Portuguese or very limited English. My time was just hard due to language barrier, not all guests wanted to use google translate with me which lead to them being annoyed that I didn't speak Portuguese, a guest (man) had handcuffs in his bed that he asked a woman team member to change his sheets, there's another guest that's racists who practically lives there (if you disagree with him then he gets into your face to try to scare you), most guests live there full time which is a bit uncomfortable.

Good location, Vitor lovely and positive, other volunteers really made this experience for us! Tasks were easy, shifts were flexible. BUT, we would not recommend this experience to a solo female traveller. Most of the guests are older men and a few unusual characters living in the hostel permanently which led to several uncomfortable situations. We questioned our safety a few times. Sadly, there is no manager onsite so you are expected to rely on other volunteers if issues arise. No window in the volunteers room is a shame. Come prepared with google translate if you're English speaking.

The hostel is not the best choice if you're looking to meet international travelers. The atmosphere is very local, quiet, and mostly elderly guests, which sometimes leads to awkward situations. Hours and tasks (basically cleaning and check-ins/outs) are respected. However, you are essentially responsible for everything that happens during your shift since the manager is rarely around. Also, the volunteer room has no natural light, not even a window. The beach is 20 mins away walking.

Foi meu primeiro voluntário na the hostel e como primeira experiência achei muito boa. A relação entre as pessoas da equipa, o local e as tarefas que desempenhei como voluntária foram muito legal. Destaco a abertura à comunicação de quem está na the hostel. Além do empenho e respeito pelas tarefas que tivemos como voluntários, também me diverti muito e valorizo ​​isso. Hasta pronto. My stay in the hostel was a great experience. I could speak English with guests and meet people from different nationalities. If you like beaches that's a great opportunity to live nearby. I could enjoy the beach in my free time. The tasks are very well distributed among volunteers and the work hours are respected. There is a nice garden inside the hostel where you can take care of plants and grow vegetables. I'm very glad with this experience and I truly recommend it.

I greatly enjoyed the experience thanks to the team I worked with. Collaborating with dedicated and kind people made each task more manageable and rewarding. We learned a lot from each other, and the work environment was always positive and supportive. Additionally, spending time and sharing experiences with such diverse people allowed me to make friends and grow personally.

My experience at the hostel was beautiful, the team was so open and nice that after 1 day I already felt home :) They were all chilled, easy-going and fun to be with, and the tasks were clear and simple to do. I highly recommend going there! I miss them already

It was my first experience as a volunteer and I felt very good working with the hostel team, they are all friendly and companions. I was able to make friends from different countries, learn more portuguese and practice my english. It is a great experience!
