It's a great experience to connect with international travelers and have a good time. I volunteered for three weeks, and all agreements and work hours were respected. The owners and managers are easygoing, friendly, and very open to suggestions for improvements. The location is very central, so you can walk to many parts of the island. En el hostel nos recibieron con las puertas abiertas, siempre nos felicitaron por el trabajo que hacíamos y nos dieron las gracias, realmente teníamos todo para vivir cómodos en nuestra estancia y los habitantes del hostal todos muy amables!

An excellent experience. From the first day, I was welcomed with the warmest attitude, constant communication, excellent colleagues, and a very interesting project. All agreed-upon schedules, both days and hours, were always respected. The conversation was very fluid throughout, and most importantly, my work and suggestions were respected. The hostel's location is great, with a supermarket nearby, close to all the main areas, and a quick commute to Valletta. The weather and vibe have been fantastic. I'm feeling like I'm in a second home , as they made me feel. Forever grateful!!

El hostel es un lugar hermoso, la casa es amplia con unas terrazas preciosas, el espacio del jardin trasero perfecto para una fogata, noche de tertulia y un delicioso vino caliente, me sentí a gusto con mis compañeros voluntarios y fuimos de trekking varias veces, agradezco a Enzo y al equipo por tan grata recepción, me siento orgullosa de haber puesto un granito de arena en el Hostel para que cada día esté más lindo, muchas gracias por la oportunidad.

El hostel fue una experiencia increíble! Fue un hogar para nosotros durante este mes, Enzo es una persona trabajadora y comparte esa vibra en el lugar, la gente aquí es agradable, el hostel tiene espacios para convivir y para relajarte también. La ubicación es muy buena, cerca de supermercados, la playa y zonas de fiesta. Si quieres venir a Malta, es una gran opción

I loved my time at the hostel and everything was great my first week and a half there. However, the main issue was that half way through my 3 week volunteering all volunteers & guests of the hostel were asked to vacate the property. There was an issue between the owners of the hostel & having enough money to continue to pay the landlord for use of the property. The hostel is still apparently now back up & running but I would just advise that you have a Plan B for alternate accomodation if you're coming to volunteer soon, just in case anything happens again.

El ambiente en el hostal es muy bueno, entre huéspedes y voluntarios hay muy buen royo y me sentí integrado en todo momento, he conocido nuevas personas que sin duda me han marcado. Malta es top, un destino muy diferente para visitar, con buena fiesta, ciudades preciosas y las playas más de lo mismo. El hostal como tal está bien, condiciones correctas. Para Sebastian(el manager) tengo buenas palabras, nos integró desde el primer momento y se ocupaba de todo mientras que a su vez tenía que lidiar con Enzo(el dueño), un impresentable.

The Hostel: Undergoing adjustments and improvements. Volunteering: Tasks were not clearly defined, and you often had to ask what needed to be done. English Practice: Some opportunity to practice, but most people spoke Spanish, so it was limited. Location: Not centrally located, and public transport in the area is unreliable. Comfort & Hospitality: The volunteer room lacked privacy due to frequent access. Staff communication was often passive aggressive, with little patience for new volunteers. Mattresses were old and uncomfortable.

unfortunatelly we were not a great match, she arrived clearly in the need of accomodation asap and we made space for her.

first shift she was 30 min late, second shift she got confused and thought her shift was finishing 1.5 hours before, third shift she arrived half an hour late claiming she lost her passport and had to go get it back, so a clear lack of organization in general. Not any personal issues, she was a quite guess, mostly to herself.

When told what to do she was active.

This was my first volunteer and the truth is that it was a very nice experience. The place is spacious, comfortable and they have an interesting project in the hostel, with a lot of desire to grow, I really liked to contribute a grain of sand and collaborate in it. We shared good talks, group dinners and a very nice atmosphere was generated. I felt very comfortable and brought me a nice relationship with the other volunteers. Thank you for the opportunity! 🫶🏻

La experiencia fue buena, se nos asignaron tareas las cuales se cumplieron, el alojamiento que recibimos fue bueno, el hostal te da todo lo necesario, para mi si las tareas a realizar estuvieran como estipuladas desde un día antes se podría ser más productivo como voluntario, pero fue una buena experiencia
