A minha experiência no geral foi muito boa. O trabalho não é pesado, e é possível de realizar dentro do horário. A equipe é em sua maioria jovens, animados e receptivos. A maioria teve bastante paciência de conversar comigo, mesmo com o meu inglês tão básico. Isso é gratificante! Tive um quarto privado para eu e minha irmã. Tivemos café da manhã quase todos os dias (não tivemos nos dias 25 e 26). A cidade é maravilhosa, e com 4 dias de folga na semana é possível visitar as cidades vizinhas e até Londres. Sentirei saudades da equipe 🩷

I volunteered at the the hostel in the hostel and had a positive experience overall. The work was easy and straightforward. Shift length depended on the schedule—morning shifts sometimes finished early, but late shifts usually ran the full time. The staff were excellent and friendly, although the assistant manager, Omar, could be hard to gauge at times. The included breakfast was a nice perk, but it depended on who was working the morning shift. the hostel itself is a fun place with plenty to do. I'd recommend this position and look forward to seeing everyone again this summer.

The team was great, if it wasn't for them i wouldn't have stayed as long as i did since im not the biggest fan of the hostel. Omar and Suzie are great managers as is Lucy (she was away for a little while) The breakfast that is included has a decently large selection. The work is pretty easy and laidback. They also have set hours which i like since you always know when you are working. The shower in my room did go cold a fair bit and the company could stand to be better but that's not the employees fault. You also get free water, tea & coffee which is a bonus.

Desde el primer día me sentí bienvenida por todo el staff del hostel. Este fué mi primer voluntariado y estoy muy felíz de que haya sido ahí. ✨ Si están pensando en aplicar para un voluntariado en el hostel, no duden en hacerlo. Mi experiencia en el hostel fué increíblemente buena, voy muy felíz de este lugar y con muchos recuerdos bonitos ❤️ Por otra parte, las tareas que debes realizar no son para nada difíciles, solo tienes que estar ahí para ayudar con toda predisposición. 😉

I had a great time volunteering here! Everyone was friendly and the agreed upon tasks weren't difficult at all. They were also great about scheduling and making sure you stuck to your hours. Also, although it was the low season and some of the guests were a bit dodgy, I still felt very safe in the hostel! 10/10 would return!

My stay in the hostel was an incredible first experience! The hostel is perfectly located, just steps away from the sea, and the city itself is absolutely beautiful. My tasks were simple, helping in the kitchen, cleaning, and keeping the common areas tidy, which gave me plenty of time to explore and meet people. The girls on the staff were truly amazing! so kind, welcoming, and always helping me practice my English in the most natural and fun way. I'm really grateful for the time I spent there and for all the wonderful people I met along the way.

I couldn't have asked for a better first Worldpackers experience than my stay at the hostel. The volunteering felt really comfortable, the instructions were clear, and whenever I didn't understand something, they were happy to explain it. The tasks were easygoing and well organized, which made everything even better.The best part of the stay was definitely the amazing staff. Thank you to all the girls, to Omar, and especially to Suzie for being such a wonderful person, she's always kind and truly appreciates the help you give to the hotel. I would absolutely do this volunteer experience again.🫰🏻😁

Hellooooo It's really nice to volunteer in this hostel. The staff and manager I've met are all friendly and kind. If you have any questions—such as about days off—they are very accommodating. The location is also great, with easy access to public transport, shops, and the beach. They provide breakfast and a guest kitchen for volunteers as well, which I think is a really good deal. The work they gave me wasn't too hard, either. Overall, I really appreciate having this experience. Staying here also helped me realise that the hostel is a really good place. Thanks all :)

Hey travelers! Me and Stefano had a wonderful experience there, sharing it with some lovely people! Most of the staff were welcoming, kind and flexible for any requests. The housekeeping tasks are demanding but nothing too much. The hostel's location is great, in the heart of colourful the hostel, everything close by and well connected! A huge thanks to Suzie for giving us this amazing opportunity :) Cheers
