Daniel and his family gave me a warm welcome, providing a truly authentic local cultural experience. Daniel's passion for off-road driving was evident, and he shared it with guests at Hotel Daniel Apartments, making the stay even more unique. I can't recommend this experience enough! I developed two websites for them, and we exchanged valuable business ideas. It was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences of my life. I also had the chance to explore Albania's beauty, visiting places like Teth, Gjirokastër, Himarë, Ksamil, and Vlorë.

My first experience with Worldpackers was very rewarding. I developed my skills, connected with amazing people, and immersed myself in the local culture. I worked on the website, adding new services, which allowed me to use my creativity. We also visited a nearby town and tried the local food, which was incredible. However, clearer communication with the host and better task distribution would improve the experience. We faced issues with hot water and heating during winter. Overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend

Daniel is a kind person, however, the experience could have been better, from the beginning I communicated my dietary restrictions, due to my gluten allergy and that I am a vegetarian, I became seriously ill. At one time we were 11 volunteers with little food, in winter without heating and with cold water. Comments that made me feel uncomfortable "Boys are smarter than girls", can improve.

My experience at the inn was challenging. I was not picked up at the airport as arranged, and I had to wait outside the property for about an hour due to difficulties in reaching the host. Additionally, I had minimal interaction with the host and received unclear instructions. There were also issues with the water supply; initially, there was warm water, but after being moved to a different room, there was no hot or warm water, only cold. The heater was also not functioning. Food availability was limited, and when requesting grocery shopping, we sometimes had to wait one or two days.

At first, the experience was amazing when the host was around. I learned a lot about Albania's culture and history. However, after the host left and his mother took over, things became difficult, especially with the language barrier, as she only spoke Albanian. We often had no hot water in 10-degree weather, and food was limited, which made it a challenge to ask for grocery shopping. I was also moved to a small 2 square meter room with no window, to share with another volunteer. There were no fixed working hours, just when needed, so remote work wasn't possible. The Wi-Fi was also very poor.

Being my first experience volunteering, it was a nice experience. Daniel was a good host, providing us with everything we needed. We also shared with Daniel's parents, who made us traditional Albanian meals. Regarding the construction work, it was not so hard and I learned a lot of things.
