What a wonderful time I had in this beautiful farm! Maria and Federico are passionate about what they do and generous in sharing their knowledge about farming! The area itself is stunning but even more so because of how they have cultivated and flourished the land! The work and working hours are varied each day and can go from harvesting, deleafing, working in the lab, cleaning, and other errands. If you enjoy working with your hands and being immersed in nature, this experience is for you! The room for volunteers is spacious and Maria's cooking is unmatched. Grazie, Maria and Federico!

I had a great time in Federico and Marias farm, they are amazing people, and im forever thankful for receiving me in their home. I got to do various task such us harvesting, planting tomatoes, deleafing, working in the lab and helping with the house. In the little time I spent i got to learn a bit about how to differentiate plants, italian cuisine and the use you can give to plants. By the way Marias food is the best, even the most simple food she adds different herbs and it tastes freaking good. Thank you Maria, Ferici, Agatha, Flora and their lovely cats and dogs. Definitely recommend.

We had such an amazing time with Maria, Federico and their lovely girls. They welcomed us into their home and treated us with a great deal of care and respect. We had a great time learning about harvesting, planting and growing herbs, cooking, and essential oils! We will be back!!! Definitely recommend:)

This was truly the most incredible experience!! Maria and Federico have the most beautiful little family and the loveliest, cosiest home. Everyone we encountered was so welcoming and friendly, it was a pleasure spending time with them all. The work on the farm was interesting and rewarding, they took the time to let us know the process and allow us to learn all about their products, and how and why they do what they do. The room we stayed in itself was spacious and clean:) Couldn't recommend enough and we would love to go back in the future!

I cannot easily describe how great our stay at the project Mirtillo was. Federico and Maria were adorable, generous, and very friendly. To put it simply, the kind of people I'd love to be friends with and have nearby in my life. I left with the feeling of wanting to come back, see them again, and marvel at the success of their farm and projects. They do everything with contagious passion. They taught us many things, from plants, harvesting, to Italian food and culture. Federico, Maria, Agata, Flora, Castanha, Popone, Minu, Coco, Tripa, Buio, Betty: thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

This is the perfect place if you want to be closer to nature. The tasks are simple but sometimes not easy cause living at a farm requires you to da bit of everything. The volunteers have their own bedroom. The city is 10 minutes away and they can give you a ride to the train station, from where you can reach whatever place you want to enjoy your days off. The reviews are true: Maria's food is incredible. But this is only a detail when it comes to the whole experience. Maria and Federico are very welcoming and caring. Thanks for welcoming us to your family and for your friendship. A presto!!!

I don't have enough words to describe how much I loved every second of this experience. All I can say is, I'll definitely be back. They're genuinely amazing people, always giving more than they ask for. My stay was perfect: I had a spacious private area with my own bathroom, flexible schedules, and simple, quick tasks. The facilities were excellent, the surroundings peaceful and beautiful, and the internet worked well. And of course, the best Italian food I've ever had! I learned so much from them, they constantly made sure I had everything I needed and made me feel like part of the family.🤗

Estás tres semanas con María Vittoria y Federico fueron maravillosas, compartí y aprendí mucho del trabajo que se realiza allí. Lo más importante, me reí y divertí con ellos. El lugar es hermoso. Ambos estaban atentos a que estuviera cómoda, me sentí como en casa. Además del trabajo, compartimos charlas, comidas riquísimas, y me llevaron a conocer otros lugares. Me llevo una experiencia hermosa, gratis recuerdos y nuevos afectos. Se trabaja inmerso en la naturaleza y se puede disfrutar de amaneceres y atardeceres bellísimos. Gracias a ellos por todo.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to meet genuine, kind, patient people and has an eagerness to learn about agriculture + sustainability. Federico and maria were so patient with teaching all the volunteers about herbs, Italian life, and sustainability! Immediately felt so comfortable in their home and they always made an effort to communicate with me. Maria and Federico are fluent in Portuguese + Italian and have amazing stories about their travels! Do not hesitate!! This is an amazing experience!!

Excelente experiencia, se las recomiendo grandemente volvería las veces que sea necesario ya que aprendes sobre las plantas y vegetación, Federico y María son excelentes personas y padres que hacen un trabajo increíble, sus costumbres y comidas fueron muy deliciosas que hacen que no quieras irte, Federico y María son amables y flexibles, el trabajo no siempre será en el mismo horario y no será lo que nos puedes hacer todas las tareas son fáciles a realizar y en equipo se lograr muchas cosas!
