Ana and Alvaro were such amazing hosts. Right from the start, I was greeted so warmly and was quickly introduced to everyone. Ana is clear with the work, and it is pretty straightforward. Everyone there is truly a family and makes sure you feel that way too. I already miss Ana's hugs, Turi's soup (SO good), playing chess with Aaron and Enno, and us all eating together after work (shoutout to Vera, Vicki, Rovena, and Valtar). Additionally, this is an absolutely stunning area in Albania with so many amazing hikes. I will 100% be coming back someday and highly recommend volunteering at the guest house!!!!

Joh, her family and the entire team were truly amazing. Arriving in a country for the first time and meeting these wonderful people has been one of the best experiences of my life. Connecting with the culture, with their lives and their hearts. I feel grateful for every moment I lived and for having met them. I already want to come back again.

I loved my time volunteering here! 10/10 Ana and her whole family made me feel so welcome from the moment i walked in. I helped with clearing up and washing dishes after breakfast and dinner. The work was fulfilling and if you're into hiking you have plenty of time to do that of course after working your shifts. Also had plenty time to get to know most of the guests staying and hang out inside playing games or chill at the bonfire. The food here is also so good with so much care and love put into it. I hope to come again next year if welcome. Thanks for everything (:

My experience at the guest house was fantastic! The host was welcoming, and the tasks like cleaning, room prep, laundry, and cooking were well-organized. I felt part of a collaborative team and appreciated the chance to contribute while learning new skills. The environment was supportive, and I would definitely recommend it to future volunteers.
