I had a wonderful time a the hostel, the work load was very manageable, all the staff were very approachable and helpful. The hostel itself is super chill, everyone is very sociable and welcoming, there's plenty of kitchen space and communal areas.

Absolutely loved my time at the hostel, it was like one big family:) Big up Scott for the free alcoholll, he was a great host who knows how to keep a business running and really looked out for the volunteers staying at the hostel. I met people there that i will definitely see in the future and would love to come back some day! Would recommend this hostel to anyone:)

I had such an incredible time at the hostel. Scott and Holly are both incredibly generous with both of them sometimes cooking free meals and giving us free drinks. The people you meet there are unparalleled, and Agnes Water truly becomes a home away from home. The facilities are perfect, and kept clean by us volunteers, and whilst it's a small town you'll always find something to do either by yourself or with the other volunteers. I absolutely loved loved loved the 6 weeks I spent here and I don't think i'll ever experience anything quite like it!

Truly loved every second of my stay at CoolBananas. I got the opportunity to make some unforgettable friends. The hostel is only a short walk from the beach and staff have access to surf boards. We had BBQ's, themed nights, and nights out at the tavern. The hostel itself is clean, the work is very straightforward, and there are job sheets to follow so if you read the list you shouldn't have any problems. Scott and Holly were a lot of fun as well and would often cook or make drinks for the hostel. Scott was quite protective of us so I always felt very safe. Would recommend to anyone!

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel ❤️ I met some amazing volunteers and guests. There is such a great community here. I have definitely made some friends for life. I was able to create/host with other volunteers many hostel events such as trivia night, country night, hippie night, dare night, etc. The reception work is very straight forward and Scott is always around to ask questions if you have them!! Scott was a great host and i never said no to a free shot/drink from him 😆

Fabulous place! The job was quick and easy and well worth it for the free stay in Agnes! Met so many the hostel people and Scott is great, just do your job and everyone is happy :) the hostel has a good balance of chill relax time or social time, it's kind of just up to you! Defiantly recommend!!!

The hostel is a very unique and funky hostel in the small town of Agnes Water. The people are kind and always inviting you to do things whether it's a meal out, a beach day, or a drinking game. The people that stay here are also a great mix of other cultures. The owner, Scott, is protective of his young volunteers and fair in the way he constructs shifts. Although small and out of the way, the location is absolutely beautiful! I recommend stopping along the coast before having your stay here as it's a great retreat from the cities or high volume touristy areas!

Agnes is an amazing little town and the hostel has the same vibe. Lots of events ( drinking fri/sat, games nights, group surfing, running, movie nights) that you can organise too. Scott and holly made us feel at home and is a generous host(regularly cooks for staff/guests, offers to take you with him to IGA/the hostel if he is going etc. The other staff were amazing too! The world is straightforward, job sheets with everything down that are easy to follow so its hard to go majorly wrong, and scott is always happy to answer questions!! Overall an amazing experience that i am glad i got to do!

Great Hostel to work at and loved my stay here. I met some amazing people whether that be the other volunteers or guests. Agnes Water is a beautiful town, amazing for surfing if you're a beginner. Scott is the hostel host who often cooked for us and had fair expectations, as long as you do your job properly, he's happy.

Very Nice hostel to work! Good surf (for beginners as well) hostel has free boards for staff. Owner is super chill as long as you Just do your job. He cooks diner for Everyone sometimes and when there is a party he will give free drinks! Hostel it self has Great garden to chill with very comfortabel sofa's and if it rains you have a big coman room insite as well! Would defently recomand
