I had a really nice time at the boat and i was able to learn a lot of new things and develop my confidence in a lot of ways! The other volunteers were amazing and we had a lot of fun together :) Sometimes we worked a little more than initially said but it was due to high season in Albania. I would recommend the experience to anyone who wants to learn new skills and get more comfortable in social environments

I absolutely loved my time at Himarë the boat. The coastline is beautiful and working on the boat with Joni is so much fun! Everyone is lovely and overall it was an incredible experience, I highly recommend and I can't wait to come back🫶

I have done a handful of volunteer experiences and this one is hands down the best in every category. The family that you work with is so welcoming and I have had the most fun getting to know them and sharing my time with them. You have a simple room near the offices with a few other volunteers. Shifts rotate between you and the others with 5 hours per day. Normally you are either in the office or on the boat. This is a very heavy customer service role, so if you take pride with how you are with people, I recommend this. Big shoutout to Niko, Dea, & Aleka 🤍 LOVE Y'ALL

Hi, I came and looooved my time here in the boat with the owners and their families. The job is very easy, it's either going on the boat tour guiding or in the office taking bookings. The owners really respect our free time and always make sure that we spend time on the boat. We can also take kayaks on our free time to go to the beach, it's very fun. They really integrated us in their family. This is an amazing experience. I made it longer for few months. I feel like it explains how good I feel here with these people :)

The experience with Nico's family is beautiful! I had a great time, the food was excellent, the atmosphere and the work very great! I only have good words to say about this experience! Thank you Niko and Dea for being so good! the boat is a beautiful place! I hope I can return!

I had the best time with Dea and Nico in Himare! I only stayed a month but wish I decided to stay all Summer - the work is fun and easy, the people you meet are beautiful, and the coastline is incredible, the clearest water and such cool caves. Himare is a quaint little town so you get to know everyone and feel right at home. Nico's family is super lovely, and they cook beautiful Greek/Albanian food for lunch every day. Dea will take care of you, and her and Nico will show you around, get dinner, drinks and coffee together - it felt like staying with family! Thank you so much for everything 💗
