I had a nice experience in the hostel, the job was not hard and I like to do the reception. I had 3 days off to explore Puerto Viejo so that was great. The host Antonella is really nice and helpful if you need anything. I will say that it will be better if you talk Spanish because I felt a bit lost sometimes. Otherwise, Puerto Viejo is great and you will have time to discover and meet people. I had a really nice two weeks there.

I had a wonderful experience volunteering at El Clan Hostel (part of the hostel). I worked at the pool bar, and the good vibes there made it a fantastic place to be. The staff made it even better – everyone is so nice, friendly, and welcoming. It's truly an amazing team to be part of! I'm very grateful for the opportunity and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a rewarding volunteer experience.

Mi experiencia en CW fue inmejorable. Desde el punto de vista del trabajo, tienen muy bien organizadas las tareas, con sentido y carga de responsabilidad lógica y muy equilibrada para los voluntarios. Además, dejan la puerta abierta a que cada uno aporte su granito de arena y pueda desenvolverse o llevar las actividades a su manera, cosa que genera un espacio de trabajo muy cómodo y agradable. A nivel personal el trato que recibí fue perfecto, sintiéndome parte del staff y la familia que forma este hostal, teniendo la oportunidad de conocer, compartir y conectar con todos ellos. Gracias!

I loved my stay so much here that I had to extend it! The staff are so kind and friendly, and the work is extremely chill (I worked at the pool bar- so fun to meet and talk with people). In my time I got to explore the area and so much of what it has to offer, both on foot and with bikes. There's truly so much, and it's so beautiful here! I got to connect with the staff, other volunteers, and travelers, and felt invested in the local atmosphere. It's safe and friendly here- you're welcomed with open arms. I couldn't recommend this volunteer opportunity more! SO much love xx :)

Volunteering at the hostel was an incredible experience. The hostel felt like home—spacious, clean, and full of positive energy. I loved the flexibility and trust from the manager, who always communicated clearly and cared for everyone. The vibe among volunteers was great, with plenty of adventures and shared moments. Puerto Viejo was easy to explore, especially with the bikes available. If you're looking for a place to connect, grow, and enjoy every moment, the hostel is the perfect choice.

We stayed at this hostel in Puerto Viejo for a month and had an amazing time. The accommodation was comfortable, though we did have to switch rooms halfway through to a larger one with more beds and more volunteers. I worked as a bartender by the pool and loved every shift. The atmosphere was vibrant, and I met so many incredible people. It's the perfect place for a long stay if you're looking for a fun, community vibe!

I volunteered at El Clan for a month and it was a wonderful experience! I met so many cool, like-minded people, and the tasks/hours were exactly as communicated. I made an amazing community while being there, and there is so much to do in and around Puerto Viejo. I highly recommend this experience :)
