I really enjoyed the experience at the hostel. The job is easy and organized, always with a schedule that helps us manage our free time. You have plenty of time to go for whale watching and aurora hunting (there's a special place just 10 minutes walking distance from the hostel). Oh, and I couldn't forget to mention the other amazing volunteers and Burguer, an awesome dog who works (give us cuddles) at the hostel.

The month I spent volunteering at the hostel was great! Robin and Naoko are amazing persons! The tasks were well distributed within the team , and there was a lot of free time to explore the beautiful surroundings of tromso, go hiking, and enjoy the city. The team was also great, all international! I am super grateful for this opp and I wish I can come back one day! Thanks again Robin and Naoko! I am already missing burger so much!

For my first Worldpackers experience Tromso Activity Hostel was the right place. It's amazing there. I really enjoyed my time. Naoko and Robin are lovely people. The tasks varied and your own ideas were also taken into account. Everyone was able to contribute corresponding their individual skills. There was also plenty of time to explore the city and the surrounding area. I really can recommend this experience. :)

I am very gratefull to Robin and Naoko, here in Tromsø I had one of the best time in my life. The host do everything to make you feel comfortable and I made a lot of friends with the team and the guest. The hostel is very central in the city, and very well connected by bus. The city and the nature are amazing. I will be back here for sure one day❤️

Working at Tromsø the hostel for a month was an amazing experience! The volunteers frequently organized hikes and outings together. I often had time to go on a hike AND do my 2-3 hours of work for the day. It was cool when Robin asked what skills all the volunteers had, and I ended up sewing to repair bedsheets, and making signs. Other volunteers made shelves and painted. Robin and Naoko are very generous and really want the volunteers to enjoy their time in Tromsø. (:

The hostel was the perfect place for my first worldpackers experience! The work is exactly how it is descriped in the profil which gives you so much free time to explore the city and it's surroundings. Robin and Naoko are very kind and great hosts. This is also a place where you can meet many people from all over the world and make new friends easily. 100% recommended. :)

My first experience as a volunteer has been wonderful at this hostel. Robin and Naoko are wonderful people and the work was very well organised. You meet people from all over the world and you also have enough time to explore the city and its surroundings. I would recommend this experience 100%.

Living and working in the Tromsø the hostel was an all-around learning experience that I would truly recommend and do it all over again. Not only you can visit such a unique place in the world but you will have the opportunity to meet and compare daily with several travelers so different from you and one another, which leads you to understand and see new points of view. It helps to become more independent because Robin trusts us volunteers very much and expect from us self-management and problem solving. Once part of the group you will immediately feel part of it no matter what.
