It was a very good experience! Edon and his family welcomed me and treated me very well, as did the staff. Tasks are light and schedules are respected. Having so much nature around and being able to go on beautiful hikes were many plus points:).

Doni and the other staff were very welcoming and helpful whenever I had questions or needed something. The communication on how to get there before the trip was not that great, so I think they can improve that aspect. The tasks weren't hard and you quickly discover what needs to be done. It was a great opportunity to learn the culture, meet the locals, hike and connect with other travellers. Overall it was a great experience, however I think it is best to set personal boundaries with the family. They treat you like friends rather than employees so I would keep this in mind when applying.

Overall a great experience! The family is extremely accommodating; they treat the volunteers like guests who provide help. I got injured while hiking and they brought me to the doctor and made sure that I was better. The work isn't difficult and I enjoyed my shifts. There were a few situations of “drama” with volunteers that made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't agree with how staff handled these; therefore I would recommend maintaining strict personal boundaries with staff. This is a fun experience, I hope all volunteers enjoy it as much as I did :)

The place is surrounded by nature and is perfect if you love hiking. Everybody is welcoming. Working hours are respected but amount of work depends on how many guests they are receiving and sometimes it gets overwhelming. You can always ask for help and recieve it, but most of things you have to figure out by yourself. They are also opened to feedback and suggestions. Also lack of communication in the beginning was felt and if not for other volunteer I would have been lost for few days for sure. Overall it was an interesting experience

In general, everything was fine. Everyone was welcomed and eager to keep conversation. I appreciate their politeness and readiness to help you to solve some issues. Yet it was difficult in first days to catch up with tasks at all 'cuz lack of explanations from host. However, it was nice to be encircled by their culture and found out more about it. I can also tell that I liked working with some of their workers. They are incredibly lovely and supportive.🥹🫶 I can recommend this experience there — at least to try to volunteer in the middle of mountains. Honestly, they are so majestic 😍

Everyone was very welcoming, and I quickly felt like a part of the team or family. Atthe lodge, independent work is very important. You'll quickly figure out what needs to be done, but sometimes you'll have to rely on yourself. Everyone is more than willing to answer questions, so don't hesitate to ask. Overall, it's helpful to have a relaxed attitude, as there are some challenges ahead, but they are manageable. Edoni is working hard to ensure that volunteers feel welcome. Feedback is always appreciated here. There's also the opportunity to experience some aspects of the culture.
