It's a very good hands on experience you have to definitely love animals and there are alot of dogs they are all friendly I helped out with feeding the cats and preparing there food which was fish I sat and played with them alog and got some videos and pictures for the social media group

I definitely had a great time working at the shelter! Everybody was super nice and caring and Krishanthi (founder and owner) and Chaminda (her manager) would always make sure that I'm doing well. I would help feeding the dogs, cleaning the shelters and I was also able to assist during medical treatment. Witnessing one day of their sterilization program was super interesting and over all I've learned a lot. I was very sad to leave them since they all, the workers and the dogs and cats became family to me! Note: You definitely have to like animals, be flexible and you can't be fussy.
