This was such an amazing experience. the hostel family helped me feel right at home from the moment i arrived and everyones been super welcoming. I've tried so many new things in these 2 weeks, through the different workshops, but also by cooking a dinner for 30+ people or teaching English at the local school. I wish I could've stayed longer and would recommend this experience to everyone :)

The hostel was such a special, beautiful, and unique place!! I'm so grateful to have started my trip and have my first volunteer experience here. It really encourages personal development and they take your interests into account when choosing what work u will do. The workshops were so much fun and people were always welcoming and easy to talk to! It was so great I will probably go back before I go home 💗

I loved the hostel, the place the vibe the people are amazing, i got to practice my art and be part of the social media team. Also the people I met there were amazing, so much that i continued traveling with them. Would definitely come back to this magical place!

I stayed here for 3 weeks and met the most amazing people and wonderful souls! The workshops are fun to attend and I enjoyed trying and learning new things! The working hours can be anything, which makes it diverse if you want too! They are building amazing new things, improving themselves daily and are the kindest people I have met. To be part of this community is really heartwarming. I love the relationship between the locals and foreigners and the vegan food was absolutely amazing as well! If I ever return to the Philippines, I will definitely stop by at the hostel again! Xoxo Thankyou all!

This was an incredible and unique experience. It was also my first volunteering experience, and the host/management were very welcoming. I truly enjoyed my stay and met many other volunteers, and they have managed to cultivate a community that is inclusive to everyone. I ended up extending my stay to about 3 weeks total. The schedule of work is quite important to the hostel, but it is not stated in the description, and I think it would have been useful to know beforehand.

El hostel es toda una experiencia. Los voluntarios allí son todos maravillosos y estoy segura de haber hecho amigos de por vida. Y por no hablar de la isla.. En cuanto a la organización siento que hay demasiadas normas y no me gusta que se use la palabra castigo en cuanto las infringes de forma accidental. Obligación de hacer burpees por llegar 1 minuto tarde a una reunión o limpiar platos si se llega tarde a los workshops. La cabaña es extremadamente pequeña y pasamos días sin agua corriente. Los miembros de la organización socializan a parte y dejan claro que no quieren formar lazos contigo

The hostel is a really special place where I learned a lot about myself! If you're looking for a big community with lots of people and fun activities that's the right place for you! If you're more of a quiet person the hostel can also be quite busy. I don't want to miss my time there, it was a great experience for me! Thank you all 🐚

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel. The international community is friendly and welcoming, and there are always workshops and activities to join—or even lead if you want to share your passions. It's a fun, creative space to meet people and get involved. Just a heads-up: to explore the island properly, you'll need a motorcycle, as many spots aren't easy to reach otherwise. Overall, a unique and enriching place for volunteers who enjoy connection and creativity.

It was a great experience. I especially loved the different workshops every morning and evening. I tried a lot of new things, grew a little as a person, and I have never done so much art in my life. Siquijor will always have a special place in my heart because it's where I learned how to ride a bike, my wish came true.

I had a good time at the hostel. I arrived right before Christmas, which was a little chaotic and challenging, because everyone else had already formed a community. Nevertheless, I am grateful I got to spend Christmas with all the lovely people and it was amazing. I really enjoyed my second week, when I got to experience the routine and everything else the hostel has to offer. Thank you, to all the people who made my stay so special!
