I had an amazing time with Flavio and Denise, and also with 2 other volunteers (Ana & Bea!). Flávio is the owner and responsible for organizing the tasks. He's a lovely person and flexible, but he has a really hard time organizing all the tasks by himself, which may lead him to ask some extra work and hours. He's a good listener, so you can talk to him and organize better the time limit. I ate amazing vegetarian dishes. The easy tasks are related to cleaning, organizing spaces; caring for the animals. the harder ones are cutting wood and digging. Feel free to talk to me about it! Grazie mille

Mi experiencia con Flavio y Denis fue divertida. Buenas conversaciones, buenas personas y un lugar extremadamente bello. Trabajamos unas 5 horas al día aprox. el trabajo era duro fisicamente a veces, pero por lo general, estuvimos ayudando a limpiar el BnB, a limpiar la parcela, y a hacer tareas necesarias para el terreno, como cortar la madera, allanar un terreno, o dar de comer a las gallinitas 🐓 😊 Debo desctacar la preciosidad del lugar, a la falda del centro y la implicacion con la música de Flavio y con las terapias alternativas por parte de Denís, que fue un amor con nosotras siempre. 💕

Minha experiência no Caldera não poderia ter sido melhor. O anfitrião e os voluntários vivem na mesma casa, que é super aconchegante, repleta de instrumentos musicais, livros e arte, imersa na natureza. Fui recebida com muito carinho e acolhimento pelo Flávio e a outra voluntária, Denise. Os dois fizeram minha viagem ser inesquecível! Sempre atentos e fazendo questão de que me sentisse em casa. O trabalho de voluntário depende muito das necessidades momentâneas do espaço, mas ele respeita completamente os horários e está sempre disponível caso seja preciso. Foi incrível, obrigada Caldera ❤️

This place is truly magical! Flavio is a kind and very good host! One of my favorite volunteering experiences and I really recommend it! Never haven't been more excited to pick up the eggs from the chicken house! Was staying there with another two lovely volunteers. We had our own private room upstairs and it was cozy! Work and working hours were very fair, organized and balanced. We were helping to prepare the place, cook food, clean the chicken house and clean the place for different events. Always had amazing teamwork! Thank you Flavio!

Staying with Flavio was amazing ! We stayed there for 2 weeks and experienced a whole new lifestyle. Flavio was so helpful and so kind, he helped us plan our future travels and taught us so much about Sicily. He even took us out and we had a blast, showing us all the local special spots. I highly recommend and I might even go back again :) We overall had so much fun staying there, went hiking, watched movies in an outdoor cinema we made up and had fabulous meals! Flavio might be the best Italian chef, but worst comedian ( Im better;). Thanks for having us Flavio<3
