A experiência foi muito melhor do que imaginei! Essa foi minha primeira experiência de voluntário fora do Brasil. Os donos são todos muito gentis e dispostos a ajudar. As tarefas são muito tranquilas e fáceis de fazer. Não importa em quanto tempo você faça, desde que conclua tudo você estará livre o restante do dia. Você terá dois dias de folga, Duolingo e uma bike pra explorar a cidade. A estação de trem fica muito pertinho do hostel então ir para Berlin ou outras cidades não será um problema.

As instalações são novas, o quarto é confortável assim como o banheiro é a cozinha e bem equipada. As tarefas são tranquilas. E algumas vezes você acaba antes do tempo. Em contrapartida eles solicitam ajuda fora do seu horário, fizeram alguns eventos conosco, que foi bem divertido. A Internet nao funcinou algumas vezes.

Foi uma boa experiencia no geral, as tarefas eram faceis e rapidas de fazer, em contrapartida, as vezes era solicitado ajuda fora do seu horario de trabalho. Os donos sao gentis e respeitosos, estao dispostos a ajudar e tambem te oferecem oportunidades de crescimento professional. O hostel fica em uma cidade super tranquila, onde nao tem muito o que fazer, (tem uma estacao bem próxima, caso queira viajar), se estiver em busca de um lugar calmo, esse é o lugar. O hostel é novo, estao trabalhando para melhorando muitas coisas, mas acredito que será um ótimo lugar para os próximos voluntários.

We had a great experience at the hostel! All tasks were simple and well explained, our hours were respected and the food budget was generous. Farhana and the team warmly welcomed us from day one and gave great tips on places to visit and things to do. Worth noting that there's not much to do in Dessau itself but it's easy to travel to neighbouring cities.

The hostel was a wonderful first worldpacker experience for myself. The hours and days off were communicated well in advance and respected. The food budget was very generous and kitchen well stocked. The supervisor Farhana was super friendly and accommodating! In the future, there could be more obvious leadership and who to report to when queries and situations arise.

My experience here was bad, the manager expects that during your working days you have to stay in the hostel even after your shift has finished, or notify with a message that you are leaving for an hour (which was not mentioned). I spent Christmas and Christmas Eve alone with some unknown guests. I felt like they accepted my application, so that all the other workers could leave. It was mentioned that there would be no other volunteers but I expected that someone else would stayed to run the hostel. Then I realized that that guy was me. I wouldn't recommend it.

This feels like a misunderstanding. I gave only morning shifts to you on the holidays. I clearly told you that you can do the morning shift, and the rest of the day you are free. if any problem with any issues at all then you could've told me and I would've adjusted it for you. The strangest thing is, I did an interview with you, clearly told you we need someone to do the tasks in those holidays, morning only, and you agreed and now you're saying otherwise. That's a huge attitude problem.

Had an overall great volunteering experience at the hostel. The tasks and hours are as described and the atmosphere is relaxed. Dessau is a small city, but full of wonderful parks to visit and only a short train ride away from larger cities like Berlin, Magdeburg and Leipzig. Would absolutely recommend!

Karin was a really hardworking and smart person. She completed her tasks with diligence and was always ready to help. She is social, friendly and open minded. She is very flexible with tasks and understanding of any given situation. I wish her all the best.

I stayed three weeks at the hostel, and it was such an amazing experience! Farhana, the manager, was always kind, supportive, and ready to help with anything. The tasks were clear and easy, and they generously provided everything for all meals. The hostel is so clean and is just a few minutes from the train station and close to the city center. Everyone was super friendly, and I loved riding the hostel's bike around Dessau's parks. During my stay I even saw snow, which made it extra special! I hope to come back again in summer to enjoy it from another side.

Increíblemente agradecida al hostel, a Farhana, Arthur y Domi por esta experiencia. Los horarios son flexibles y se super acomodan a las necesidades de los voluntarios, te da tiempo a conocer y viajar por los alrededores. Las tareas son de limpieza pero son super fáciles. Tienes la comida a tu disposición semanalmente y la habitación es super grande y cómoda también. Solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento para este voluntariado (es mi primera vez en Alemania). Gracias!

My experience was good in the hostel, the manger gives you a set schedule and enough time to travel. Clean hostel and good location from the train station and shops, grocery stores. And very organized team there and thanks for my stay there.
