La experiencia en el hostel fue increíble; estuve un mes en la ciudad y fue de los mejores voluntariados que hice. Florencio es un buen host, ofrece buenas instalaciones en su hostel para cocinar y dormir, él solía estar con nosotros los findes de semana y después de cumplir nuestras actividades nos invitaba a comer; es una persona abierta y dispuesta a conocer otras culturas y compartir ideas. Tampoco es pesado o está atrás nuestro, delega las tareas x mensaje y una vez hechas mandamos la fotos. Estuve en época de Carnaval por lo cual la experiencia fue más completa y enriquecedora.

The experience with the hostel and Florêncio was great. The task were easy and the communication with was great, even for a beginner in Spanish. He take time to give us a call the first day and share location to go with us. I highly recommend.

The experience at Hostal Backpackers Oruro was great. Florencio was mostly out during the week, but he always made himself present and called us to make us feel welcome. He also oriented other volunteers to support us during his absence. During the weekends, he would come and help with the shores and share moments - and meals- together. The activities are simple and the hours are respected. Florencio is a superhost - he took us visiting and recommended good places and activities to do.

My experience in Oruro was for only for a week. But that week was very enjoyable. Florencio was very communicative and helpful, as well as very kind. He called to make sure we settled ok and we had lunch together which he bought something's for us to use. The work was very simple and straightforward. All you have to do is clean the bathrooms and common areas as well as rooms when guests check out. Overall we had a good time and would definitely recommend again.

We didn't stay long but we had a really great time during our week here. Florencio is super nice and always available to help. The hours are pretty flexible and the work is easy.

The hostel work is very simple and easy! Florencio and his family are very welcoming and helpful, and even cooked us dinner sometimes! Lots of volunteers here so meet some really great people too!

Overall the volunteering experience was good, met some great people from it and the tasks were straight forward and easy to do. Florencio and his family are very welcoming and helpful. We had some great food cooked by the family also.

Florencio was a great host although he's only around on the weekends. His brother Carlos manages the hostel during the week. The hostel is not far from the centre of town & very close to the local market. The position is very chilled and easy. The hostel is not the cleanest and could do with some TLC and stocking more cleaning materials and products. The toilets smell of waste due to the toilet paper being thrown in a bin and no ventilation. My favourite thing about the hostel is the hostel cat " Walter White" who is super cute. I would recommend Backpackers Oruro to other volunteers.
