I can't stress it enough but we couldn't have asked for a better experience as our first volunteering gig!! Fai and Xavi are amazing hosts, always super friendly, clear, respectful and open to collaboration. The work was fun, well explained, we had freedom to make choices and da little bit of everything!! the guest house is a place out of this world, as well as the surroundings that we got to explore and know better thanks to the expertise of our hosts. We only wished we could've stayed even more. Thanks a million!!

He tenido una experiencia muy buena, en contacto con la naturaleza y con otras voluntarias. He trabajado principalmente en el huerto y limpiando/organizando el espacio. Hay bastante trabajo, pero no es complicado y las personas son amables/flexibles. La casa está 40min/1hr caminando de un pueblo, pero tienen bicis disponibles. Creo que el voluntariado es para la conexión con la naturaleza y con los demás, salir de visita a otros espacios puede ser un poco más difícil. Para mí fue una experiencia muy bonita, guardaré lindos recuerdos. Muchas gracias Fai y familia ❤

Para mi fue mi primer voluntariado y he tenido la gran suerte de hacerlo en este sitio, me sentí muy bien, los anfitriones son maravillosos Fai se integra con los voluntarios como una familia. Son muy trabajadores y respetuosos y cordiales. La casa es antigua tan bien conservada que fascina. Una tranquilidad deliciosa. Y los trabajos nada difíciles. Todo hermoso. Y las habitaciones de los voluntarios son cinco estrellas. Yo lo recomiendo a todos los que deseen relajarse y sentirse bien y aprender muchas cosas nuevas. Por supuesto,dan deseos de volver . Gracias a los anfitriones.

Una experiencia increíble, super linda Faizuly con nosotras, tiene un proyecto hermoso tanto en el huerto como en las telas estampadas, disfrute mucho trabajando en el proyecto de confección y aprendiendo en el huerto.

What an amazing experience! Fai and Xavy were such welcoming, respectful and fun hosts. I really enjoyed the family style lunches made with almost entirely food from their land. The hours were exactly as agreed upon and Fai tried to make sure people somewhat enjoyed their daily tasks. The work was straightforward and sometimes fun (picking and pressing wildflowers)! The house and area around it was absolutely stunning. It was really nice to slow down, appreciate the land and be more mindful about how we consume and engage with the natural world. Thank you times a million Fai and Xavy!! :-)

My time at the guest house has been wonderful. Fai is so nice, and patient with my little knowledge of Spanish. She made us feel very comfortable and gave us varied tasks every day. Volunteers make lunch each day for everyone and I really enjoyed doing that with ingredients from the garden and such :) the house and surrounding area is absolutely stunning, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to slow down for a bit and connect with nature.

Fai and Xavi are wonderful hosts, I really enjoyed my time at the guest house Avinyó. The work was an enjoyable mix of cleaning, gardening and DIY projects. We had plenty of time each day to explore the surrounding area

We spent 2 weeks in the guest house and had a great time. We were given our tasks for the day every morning, nothing was too difficult or complicated. Fai and Xavi were very welcoming, we had meals together. There were a mix of Spanish and English speakers and it was no problem, everyone was patient and communicated well. It was fun. The house and area are also beautiful and you can cycle to the local town or the beach easily.

I had a wonderful time!! The first week, I was the only volunteer but it wasn't a problem, the family welcomed me very well and we had a very fun time together. I think the daily tasks we did were different everyday(a very flexible schedule,) which I find very nice. One of the volunteers cooked lunch for the others everyday and it was a great way of tasting and trying different kinds of food from all over the word, and it contributed to a friendly environment. The majority of the ingredients, especially the vegetables were from the garden. I will most definitely return, I'm very thankful.
