Uma bom lugar para relaxar sem acesso a internet de qualidade e afastado de tudo. Pascale e Christian me receberam muito bem e preparam deliciosos pratos vegetarianos todos os dias. Aprendi muito sobre plantas e como cultivar. O ponto negativo era a cabana em que fiquei estava infestada de aranhas, mas logo depois mudei para outra que estava melhor.

I really enjoyed my time at this project. I learnt a lot about gardening and how to follow the moon callanders to respect the ballance and flow of the garden and maximise the health and wellbeing of the environment. Truly a fascinating experience. The gardens are lovely. The local villages and views of the mountains are so beautiful. I enjoyed cycling every day. It is difficult to get around the area as their is no public transport available to the Village so it was hard to explore further away. I could not reach the pyranees mountains with only public transport from the house.

Everything was a bit magical if you appreciate small and untouchable things. Pascale and Christian are so so kind. They are going to let you see how's the way of life they've developed during their adulthood and they're going to teach you a lot about nature profiting while respecting it, plants, birds, good skills at choosing cheese and beer (if you ask Christian he's gonna show the good northern french taste), medicinal herbs, functional cooking, etc. You will enjoy a lot if you are open to learn from them and pass time with'em. Maybe it's not that dynamic the region, but it's full of history

A truly memorable 3-weeks stay with Pascale and Christian! Their warm hospitality, attention, and care created a warm and welcoming environment. The countryside house, garden, and surroundings are peaceful and a real pleasure to live in. It was a great opportunity to learn how to care for plants and flowers, to work with the rhythm of nature, and to see how food can go straight from the earth to the plate; as well as to practice speaking French through conversations on every imaginable topic, all in a very supportive setting. Time spent here will be remembered with real gratitude :)

Pascale and Christian were wonderful hosts! It's a great experience if you're looking to work in garden/relax in free time. Although it is far away from things, you have everything you need there. Although only lunch is cooked for you, you're provided with many cereals and other ingredients as well as a functioning kitchen. If you want anything you will just ask them and they will provide. If not, they drive you to the nearest supermarket or you can ride 1 hour with their bikes :) I was there for 2 weeks with another volunteer and 1 week by myself. Usually they only take 2 volunteers.

I really enjoyed my time with Pascal and Christian! The tidbits I learned about gardening and some of the food that was made is information I will bring home with me and use going forward. The work was rewarding and the cabin I stayed in was very comfy and cozy. Thankyou for having me!

I stayed with Pascale and Christian for a month. They are very nice and generous. The lunch was very good and we had nice conversations at lunch. I also improved my french a little with them and they recommended me places that I could visit and teached me about their plants. Thank you for that experience.

Staying with Christian and Pascale was such a memorable time for me! They have enormous knowledge of wild edible and medicinal plants and were so generous with their teaching and sharing. Their property is peaceful and serene, and connecting with nature, locals, and yourself is a huge part of this experience. Sharing meals was also incredible - learning about cooking plants, French cuisine, and having discussions over meals was so special. I highly recommend visiting these lovely people and this lovely part of France!

My girlfriend and I got a lot out of our peaceful stay at Pascale and Christian's beautiful and natural pyrannes property. Having Déjeuner (lunch) with them every day was a highlight and we tried many new cultural dishes. Pascale and Christian are very generous, helpful and trusting people and made our experience living in the Pyrannes one to remember :)
