Ana is the super sweet and kind! The dogs are very lovely and you will easily get attached to them! The Location is perfect and you will be able to catch some incredible sunsets! 10/10 would recommend :)

Jolie was a huge help during my time of need. She was incredibly diligent with all her tasks, caring for my dogs with great affection and discipline, paying special attention to little Pipó. She worked wonders with Sol, giving him long walks, and he was thrilled to be there (he's a different dog now, thanks to you, Joelina). Getting my driver's license was also very helpful, and she helped me with grocery shopping, housework, and making the video wMaria. All of this at a nonstop pace! thank you

I had an amazing experience volunteering in Portugal! The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for walking or hiking at any time. The tasks are simple and exactly as described, mostly taking care of the dogs and helping around a bit. The host is incredibly kind, helpful, and always makes sure you feel comfortable. The dogs are adorable, friendly, and full of love. It's such a peaceful and happy environment. perfect if you love animals and want to spend time in a calm and beautiful setting. I truly recommend this experience! Thank you Ana ❤️

Maria José did an outstanding job here at Salto do Lobo. From start to finish, she was incredibly committed, persistent, disciplined, organized, and dedicated to all my dogs. She's also sensitive, understanding, and friendly.
In the end, she made me a very useful video for Salto do Lobo.

I spent a wonderful month thanks to everyone ! The volunteers and Ana were incredible and of course the dogs !! I will miss everyone but this is not a goodbye, it's a see you later ! with better portuguese hopefully !! OBRIGADA !!!

Clara stayed a few extra days and helped me a lot until the end. She's a very sociable, polite, fun, and caring person. In addition to housework and working with the dogs, she helped me with photography and also makes good videos. thank yooou Clara!

Foi minha primeira experiência e foi de facto excelente! As tarefas eram simples e os cães são adoráveisl e amigáveis. Ana priorizou muito a excelência da experiência do voluntariado. Qualquer problema que tínhamos e levávamos a ela era tratado da melhor forma possível mostrando o quanto ela se preocupava com nossa estadia ali. Tivemos almoços com pratos de diferentes culturas e vez por outra passávamos um tempo conversando e aprendendo mais sobre. Foi mesmo uma ótima primeira experiência e eu recomendo para quem gosta de cães e adora estar na natureza.

O Danilo chegou na altura que eu mais precisava e foi o primeiro desta temporada de Julho e Agosto. Trabalhamos juntos também e gostei do seu trabalho aplicado e das nossas boas conversas interessantes. Ele lê bastante, e uma pessoa culta e interessada falando bem inglês. As tarefas aqui com as casas e com os cães também foi tudo bom, ele cumpre com a palavra e ação e realizou tudo como pedido.
também é muito divertido e sociável o que torna tudo bem mais fácil no dia a dia

The host was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the start. The space was exactly as described, clean, and comfortable. They were always available for questions and gave great local tips, which made my trip even better. The dogs are amazing and the place beautiful. I hope I can return as soon as possible. Highly recommended!

Paulo was impeccable in every task. If I could choose anyone, he would be the ideal partner because he is very mature in every sense. He has a capacity for precision, focus, and detail, proactivity, efficiency, adherence to schedules, precision in cleaning, laundry, and immense affection for the dogs, and then he still has time in his free time to walk the dogs and dedicate himself to his own work. He also taught me how to make sushi with his precision and dedication.

The place is beautiful qnd there's a lot of places to hike. Ana,the host, is lovey. She always made sure we had everything we needed to eat. Although she's vegetarian, she didn't mind buying meat for us, which I really appreciated. She's very respectful, and the 8 dogs are all sweet and not aggressive at all. The rooms are comfortable, and both the kitchen and washing machine are always available. That was good too. The only downside for me was that sometimes I felt a bit unsure about what I was supposed to do. But overall, Ana is a great host and the guest house too :)

O Bel cumpriu com todas as tarefas com os cães e das casas., limpeza, etc. Com os cães foi cuidadoso com todos, especialmente do tranquinha cuidando sempre da pata e do olho. considero o Bel uma pessoa inteligente, interessante por estudar e aprender, e também bem sensível
.e compreensivo no momento que eu mais precisei
na cozinha ele e muito engraçado, ele sabe bem cozinhar e explorar tudo

Serra da Estrela is a beautiful place surrounded by nature, with trails and many mountains. Taking care of the dogs was easy and fun, I'm really going to miss them, as well as Ana, who welcomed me so warmly and was always thoughtful about making us feel comfortable during our stay. I'm just very grateful!

O Luís veio por pouco tempo mas foi uma ajuda muito útil durante o período que cá esteve.
Gostei do seu trabalho. Reparei que no trabalho com os cães, fazia com tudo com facilidade e sozinho e no resto das tarefas também foi muito bom. Achei muito tranquilo e independente, e ganhou um grande carinho pelos meus cães.

My experience at Saldo the guest house was absolutely amazing 🤩 Winter time is a quiet time for guests, which gave me time to enjoy the nature and engaging in different tasks that needed to be done. The guest house was a beautiful experience. For me, it was challenging because of the cold. If you come in winter, be prepared!! Ana is a very welcoming and warm host. She is always taking care that the volunteers have everything we need to eat. dogs are very loving and the tasks are easy to complete. It is mostly about the dogs, feeding and walking with them. The other tasks are related to the guests houses. Ana is respectful about your time, anyways is always important to set all vey clear. Be open and comunicate everything and you'll be okay! Hope to go back one day! Thank u Ana <3

I had a memorable stay at the guest house. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and breathtaking, the kind of place that makes you slow down. Ana is kind and easygoing. If you love dogs, this is a perfect experience - they are a big part of the daily work routine.

My experience with Julie was very good. Julie is a simple, determined person, always available to help with all household chores and with the dogs. She also cooks very well and makes delicious cakes. I found her beautiful, very young but beautiful inside and out. Very grateful for her help at Salto do Lobo, Julie.
