This place combined with the work gives an amazing example of the perfect island life. The beautiful beach, nice accommodation and good vibes create a lovely stay. But be aware: the kitchen is lacking of equipment and your stuff goes missing if it is in the fridge. And the staff room is with 24 people. The work was fair, hours respected activities we could join were great. I ended up doing activities, which was a dream job. The place is switching management to Mayan Monkey now, so for futures stays I don't know if it will be the same. Bring enough sunscreen and bikinis!

J'ai passé 6 semaines en tant que volontaire au the hostel d'Isla Mujeres, j'ai passé un séjour super et rencontré des amis que je garderais longtemps. Je recommande. J'étais laundry attendant, le personnel étaient vraiment très gentil, je ne parle pas espagnol et il ne parle pas anglais cependant on a réussi à communiquer.

The hostel is a very special place! All the other staff and volunteers are so so welcoming and the island is beautiful. I worked as a yoga teacher and the work hours were respected and the work was also really enjoyable. the hostel give you a lot of benefits and support such as free meals and free stays in other the hostel which was really great ❤️ I loved it so much I even decided to stay longer. I can't recommend this experience enough!!!!

Mi experiencia en el hostel Isla Mujeres fue increíble. Tanto el staff del hostel como los otros voluntarios hicieron esta experiencia inolvidable. El hostel es precioso, el poder estar en la misma playa de la isla es un privilegio, aunque le harían falta algunas mejoras en la cocina. El trabajo en el hostel no es muy pesado y los encargados son flexibles. Lo único que cambiara es el tema de la comida, quizá un poco mas de organización en algunas areas y los mosquitos. Totalmente recomendado este voluntariado.

Had an amazing time on Isla Mujeres. The place is very beautiful with good vibes and you'll meet a lot of welcoming people. The tasks were very chill and you have lots of time to explore the island on your own. Only thing is it took sometime to find someone for the instructions as the organisation failed at that point. The food we've got was pretty good sometimes but this can vary. The facilities were ok but the kitchen lacked of some equipment (no oven, very few cutlery, broken). Overall I'm thankful for this experience and everything I could take from that:)

The hostel is an amazing hostel, the location is great. There is a bus stop in front of the hostel, supermarket and local town only 10 minutes walk. Also beautiful beaches like La Joya which is 10 minutes walk and some other attractions like Punta Sur 20 minutes walk. The hostel has good facilities, is clean and comfy. Isla Mujeres is a stunning place and in one month you'll have more than enough time to explore all the island. My experience here has been unforgettable and I highly recommend it. The staff could improve the communication of the agreed tasks. But other than that everything was ok.

La experiencia fue muy buena ! Muy divertido y tareas que no requieren de mucho esfuerzo, la comida muy rica, los chicos del bar muy buena onda, a lo primero me pusieron una semana en recepción y no era lo que habíamos quedado pero luego me cambiaron a las actividades donde me la pasé mucho mejor. Las habitaciones muy limpias con lockers espaciosos, tal vez recomendaría que comence la música un poco más tarde ya que desde las 9am hasta la 1 de la mañana no para.. pero todo lo demás muy bueno, show de fuego todas las semanas, 3 fiestas por semana, la decoración es increíble! Este fue mi primer voluntariado y estuvo increíble! El staff y los demás voluntarios muy buena onda. El lugar es un paraíso y tiene todas las comodidades. Sin dudas volvería a ir, 100% recomendado!!

El lugar es fantástico todo muy natural, se destaca la ubicación con un el hostel genial y muelle para disfrutar de los increíbles atardeceres, instalaciones muy bien, el personal excelente trato y amables. Muy buena experiencia!
