The home farm is an incredible experience. The family is just wonderful, good, solid, salt of the earth souls. James and Carina are the kindest people, with patience and love for people in abundance. I am humbled that I have been asked to extend my stay at the home farm. the home is a real home, in every sense of the word. May the kindness of these wonderful people return to them in countless ways.

Most incredible experience! I cannot recommend it enough. James & Carina are the most amazing hosts and I instantly felt at home. I enjoyed every moment with their daughters and got to see more of Northern Ireland than I ever expected. The house is full of laughter and love.

VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! THANK YOU! James & Carina are truly sincere and genuine people. Since day 1 they always did their best to make my stay very pleasant. They accommodated my diet, my days off, and made sure I was happy. I learned a lot about traditional Irish culture & family values. Taking care of the kid(s) was very special in that I always shared lots of laughs with them. On my birthday, James & Carina sung me happy birthday and treated me like a family member. They even gave me a gift. I will always cherish this experience and grateful to them. I wish their family lots of joy.

My first Worldpackers experience and the best I had this year. The house was incredible, the family was super attentive and I felt at home throughout my stay. I would love to come back. There is a lot of nature to discover, Ireland is beautiful.

Being our first Worldpackers experience, our time at the Duffy's was better than we could have ever imagined! James and Carina and the girls from the first greeting, invite you into their home with open arms and make you feel apart of their family. Their generosity and encouragement towards exploring the neighbouring towns and Ireland make it possible to experience all Ireland has to offer. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to meet the Duffy's and will definitely be returning in the near future !

Our experience in heathgrove farm was excellent. It was our first volunteer with my sister and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The Duffys are lovely people, since the first moment that they went to pick up us when we arrived, we felt super good, like at home. Carina and James were always inviting us to join them whenever they went to town, or encouraging us to get to know the north of Ireland and willing to drive us to the nearest town. The four girls are really lovely and energetic, they integrated us to the family as soon as we arrived. We really enjoy out time there.

My experience at the home was very good. It is very much in the countryside if you're looking for a place to get in touch with nature it's definitely for you. Carina and James are great hosts they always offered to do day trips to neighboring towns and villages, and inviting everyone to join them on their activities and adventures. They have movie nights often with the kids which are a lot of fun! The kids are good too and show you around. They have a tennis court, trampoline, swimming pool and lots of walking trails to explore nearby!! Overall good experience

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I'm grateful for the fun I had at the home! The work responsibilities were as described, with opportunity to choose activities that I also enjoyed. The weekly schedule was adhered to. I really appreciated that time off was my time, with the chance to explore the countryside, towns or travel around Ireland. I also valued being included in activities, like travel, beach trips or movie nights with the kids. The family was super welcoming, and it was great to meet other travelers!

This was my first Worldpacker trip and I feel so fortunate to have been a part of this truly amazing experience. The family was warm and welcoming. They really care about their volunteers and make sure that they experience as much of the Irish countryside and culture as possible. There was always a feeling of belonging and at all times I felt safe and comfortable. My duties were most pleasant and totally rewarding. In fact, the house and volunteer expectations were always well organized and clearly laid out for everyone. I am so grateful for all the aspects of my stay.
