Andong is a beautiful city full of culture, history, warm people, and lovely places to visit. It's a great option if you want to break out of your routine and avoid the big city. It's very close to several other cities you can visit in your free time. This way, you'll get to see many beautiful places in Korea, not just the capital, Seoul. Additionally, Heoo the host is very friendly and always helps you with whatever you need. The work at the guest house is not very difficult; you will learn new customs, make friends, and hear stories about the city that Heeo will always share with you.

Volunteering at the guest house was an unforgettable journey! Each day brought new discoveries and enriching experiences. Heeo, the heart and soul of the house, exuded kindness and warmth, making every moment a delight. Being embraced by the locals the guest house was transformative, and with Heeo as our guide, we discover hidden gems and cherished memories in the most beautiful corners of Andong. This opportunity was truly the epitome of fulfillment and connection. Gratitude fills my heart for such a remarkable experience!

Heeo is a great host who makes everyone feel welcome! He helped us a lot and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Besides, we were able to experience many Korean traditions thanks to him, and learn more about the Korean way of life. We also met many international travelers, as well as other volunteers, which was very fun! I 100% recommend this experience.

She has the advantage of speaking fluent English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. She performs faithfully in the given task and often has a good evening with guests 😊

In addition, she is good at cooking, so she sometimes entertained the overall atmosphere of the guest house by cooking French when hosting small parties!! Lol

She is especially good at empathizing with other people's stories, so she created a good atmosphere of communication with everyone for 3 months in our guest house :)

The guest house was my first ever experience on Worldpackers, and I don't think I could have made a better choice. Not only is the work easy, having a lot of rest days is perfect for discovering the area! Heeo (the host) was very accomodating and allowed for my friend and I to have rest days in common to explore the city together. All the staff is super nice and everyone got along very well. Apart from that, Heeo is also someone that thrives to help you learn more about Andong and Korean culture in general. Thanks to him, we could have many one-of-a-kind experiences during our stay. Thank you! :)

She has the advantage of being able to speak fluent English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, and faithfully fulfills her duties with a book sense. And she sees the work as a whole other than simply doing the given work and handles it well efficiently :)

In addition, she is friendly with various people and knows the characteristics of each country well, so she can communicate smoothly with guests, and is considerate!

It was very impressive to see her trying to understand and accept her cultural differences during the three months of volunteer work, and I would like to express my gratitude to her for being with us :))
