Ma thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis the place to be if you want to connect with nature and beautiful souls. If you want to experience new things, such as yoga, foot volley, capoeira and if you want to know more about an healthy and sustainable way of living. I loved my stay atthe ecothe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village! The people are lovely and the atmosphere is great! After yoga in the morning, everyone could choose a task for the day (cooking, cleaning or gardening). The work was actually fun and not hard at all. The property is huge and close to some beaches, waterfalls and the town montezuma, so there is a lot to do in your free time, but keep in mind that thethe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis located on a hill. Therefore, it takes about 25min to get to the beach. I will definitely miss the evenings where we sat around the bonfire, sang, played the guitar and had a wonderful time :)

I had a great time at Bejathethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village!!! Amazing people and atmosphere. The work didn't take up much of the day so we had a lot of free time. Beautiful beaches and nature around, however thethe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis quite remote so it is difficult to get places, but we managed!Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely recommend this volunteer experience to anyone and everyone!! My time at Beija Flor Village has such a special place in my heart. It is truly life changing to be in an environment that honors the gift of being alive everyday, eating real food and honors the light in everyone around them. The land that you stay on is mindblowing with hills, valleys, rivers and so much life all around you. The volunteering jobs are enjoyable and you feel of value giving back to the project. I miss my time here so much and will be back to visit xoxox

Such a great experience! I learned lots about permaculture, sustainability, diet, wellness and community while also connecting with other travellers exchanging culture. Creativity is highly promoted and we had the freedom to paint, decorate, and plan activities/ workshops. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe both within the Village and in the surrounding towns. Ariel is very helpful and responsive to volunteer needs and it shows that he cares about making sure volunteers have a positive, and educational experience. I had a great time and can't wait to be back soon!

While the host andthe ecothe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villagewere very welcoming and supportive, the work and accommodations were not as anticipated. Unfortunately, I ended up having to leave early due to a family emergency, so I can't speak to what a longer experience may have looked like, but in the week I was there, we mostly planted fruit trees in the morning and went on our own excursions in the afternoon. I also heard later from fellow volunteers who spoke with locals that they are very much against the project due to environmental concerns. This was disappointing to hear about a project focused on sustainability.

Thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageis not as it is advertised on Worldpackers. There is only one fully built house; the volunteer sleeping area is rather a small hut with bunk beds, a roof and mosquito nets instead of windows and is not fully enclosed. Sadly, most of the people from thethe ecothe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageare nice, but barely around and most of the time you are on your own. Meeting amazing volunteers there made me wish I could give a better review. But the most important thing is that the Montezuma locals do NOT support the project. I feel that I can't support a project that isn't supported by the people who know the area best.

Hey Katharina,
Like I wrote your friend Anna.
I'm sorry that you feel that way. Even Though I got the impression you had a lot of fun during the farming activities, the yoga classes, the Capoeira, the kung fu and Friday night events.

About the Accommodation I was asking you every morning if you like it and
If you are sleeping well because we have more options and you told me that you loved it. I could have fixed it if you had told me otherwise.
About the amount of people, September and October are the lowest season in the area and there are only few people in the village and in the area in general. I decided to open in the low season as well only to share the knowledge.

About the people around that talked to you,
Few months ago someone published a video full of lies about our village and our activities based on racism. We invited the community to come and see it but only few came so the people that talked to you never came to see the village and don't know what we are doing here actually.

Basically, our activities this week were planting trees, harvesting the vegetables, moving the bees to a better place for them and creating systems to collect and drain rain water.

Our village is supporting sustainable living starting from the infrastructures continuing to each house and has the highest standards in the area.

I hope next time you hear a rumor you will go and check it.
Wish you the best. I had a great time with you here and you are more than welcome to come back. Just keep spread the love

Although Nimi was very communicative, kind, funny, and helpful, especially getting me from the airport and being accommodating when I asked to leave early, I can't rate this any higher. The land is beautiful and the volunteers I met were incredible. However, after leaving I spoke to locals who told me that the project is something they do not support and are adamantly trying to stop. They expressed that the build was destroying flora and fauna and taking water from the waterfalls. This was hard for me to hear as I was hoping to be a part of something that was positively impacting Costa Rica.

I had an amazing experience during my stay atthethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village-thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village. My main goal was to get to know different cultures, people and learn different tasks. Unfortunately when I arrived Nimrod told me they needed help with the gardening, which it was bad because I wanted to help with the tasks I applied for, but I accepted it and face it as a good thing too. I loved all the activities (Capoeira, Yoga and Kung Fu) and the nature surrounded. Even though I had an amazing time there I wouldn't recommend this voluntering to people who are interested in sustainability field.

While staying at thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villageI met lovely volunteers from all around the world. Our work was mostly done in the morning with the afternoon off. While the description suggests that thethe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village thethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village villagealready exists, this is not the case. You are basically living with only a few people near you out in nature sleeping in a hut, which was not advertised that way. Also, we got to hear from the locals the day after we left the project, that they are not supporting the construction of thisthethe the ecothe ecothethethe the the eco village village villagevillagevillage village village, because it is apparently not as sustainable as promised. Therefore, one should actually not support this.
