Steve, the host, is a very welcoming and funny guy. He always asked us to explore villages and beautiful places around the village. The dogs are very well behaved, friendly and very nice to walk, so we could get to now the place. The tasks were also very fine and for sure doable. Best wishes Malena

It was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. The task were simple and easily done, the dogs were very friendly and wonderful companions, the mountain town was very cute and quiet which was a great way to escape the stressful city life & enjoy more nature. Steve was very welcoming and kind, me and my friend had a great time with him on a daily basis as well as on some trips to neighboring towns. I can truly recommend this experience to anyone!

It was a pleasure to work with and for Steve, a wonderful person who welcomed us warmly into his guesthouse and helped us fully experience the charm of the small town of Villaluenga del Rosario. As he is English, I was fortunate to greatly improve my language skills, as we were in constant contact with him during breakfast, lunch and dinner (I absolutely love his cooking). Our work involved taking care of his two wonderful dogs and performing housekeeping duties. These were truly enjoyable days :)

The experience at the guest house was fantastic! The environment is beautiful and quiet, the work and timetables were more than respected. It was a pleasure to meet Steve, who was always kind and helpful towards us, as well as a good cook and great company! He also showed us several nice places around and we had a lot of fun. His two dogs are very sweet and it was nice to take them for a walk surrounded by nature. I highly recommend this experience. Thanks Steve :)

I spent 8 wonderful days at the guest house with Gwen. Steve was lovely and very friendly, we had a lovely room and access to the patio and pool after our service. The job is to clean the rooms after check outs and walk Rasper and Zoro, the cutest dogs. There's lots of hiking and beautiful nature around the house. I recommend 100% :)

Our experience at the guest house was amazing! The guest house is beautiful and the nature around it is stunning :) The tasks are easy and straightforward, our favorite one being walking the cutest dogs each morning ☺️ Steve is really friendly and we really enjoyed spending time with him during our stay! He is a really great cook and brought us to a couple villages near by so we could explore!I highly recommend this experience for anybody, especially if you love hiking and spending time in nature! 🫶

I had a really great experience at the guest house. The tasks/work were varied and manageable within the allotted work hours, leaving the rest of the day for free time to explore the beautiful nature and neighbouring villages/towns. The facilities provided for volunteers, including accommodation and food, were very comfortable and nice. Finally, Dawn and Steve were generous and welcoming hosts who looked after me well and really contributed to my positive experience. Thank you very much!

Fue mi primer voluntariado y estoy muy feliz! El lugar es muy tranquilo y pacifico, conectas mucho con la naturaleza. Steve y Dawn fueron muy amables y respetuosos, cocinan delicioso. Tienen 2 perritos Zorro y Raspa que son un amor. Se respetan tus horas de trabajo, valore mucho eso. Me encanto la experiencia y lo aprendido! PD. Les comente que la pizza es mi comida favorita, y me hicieron pizza casera súper deliciosa la ultima noche, fue muy especial. Les mando un abrazo a todos y gracias por la experiencia!

One of the best experiences of my life. Villaluenga del Rosario is truly the most beautiful place. Stunning. Refreshing from American culture. The locals are so lovely, friendly, and eager to help you speak Spanish. Perfect area for hiking! The babies! I fell in love with Zoro and Raspa ❤️ I already miss them! *both are rescues and Raspa needs extra love and someone who is very gentle and has experience with animals. The work was easy! Paula is THE best!❤️ *Downsides: Unfortunately, Dawn and Steve (I think Dawn mostly) were less than friendly. The living space was not very clean.

We did not meet you.

However, sadly even before you arrived, we had problems.

You did not listen to our specific details for arrival and booked a journey to a completely different place.

After that, you blamed us saying we were not specific.

The other main problem we had, was that you did not listen when we asked for rooms to be checked prior to guests arriving.

This meant we had a major problem with a guest who refused to stay in their room due to a lack of cleanliness.

We have NEVER had that situation before and it happened because you ignored us.

You do not know best with someone else's business and we usually never have these issues with other volunteers.

We would absolutely not recommend you to another host because of this.
