I enjoyed my time on the lodge so much that i already miss it! The hosts are so kind, you feel like a family member, and they take you on trips and events too. The work is sometimes hard with 6 hours, cleaning, cooking and helping with guests but its worth it for the freshly cooked meals, living in the rainforest with all the animals, and you can go on nighttours that are for free. I would always come back. Muchas gracias Noelia y Jay por todo!

El alojamiento es un lugar en el bosque lleno de naturaleza, para estar tranquilo un par de semanas, conocer nuevos animales de Costa Rica, compartir tiempo con los anfitriones y quizás otros voluntarios, recomiendo ese voluntariado si te gusta estar en un lugar tranquilo y alejado, también observar que son 30 horas a la semana, al principio a mi me parecían muchas porque mis anteriores voluntariados eran de máximo 25 horas, pero es un trato que está pactado desde el principio así que todo bien, sólo no lo olvides si decides ir, los anfitriones te ayudan mucho y son amables, buenos días por acá…

Authentic nature lover's paradise! the lodge is a sustainable, ecological project where I felt welcomed like family by Noe and Jay. Tasks varied based on guest numbers, and Noe ensured clear communication. During the low season, I focused on cleaning, cooking (thanks to Noelia's guidance!), and some gardening. I learned so much, made genuine connections, and formed lasting friendships with the amazing community. Gracias for an unforgettable experience! 🌸☀️🌿

Wonderful experience at the lodge! The immersive natural setting made work fulfilling yet peaceful. Reasonable hours ensured productivity without exhaustion. Jay and Nohelia were exceptional—supportive, communicative, and genuinely respectful. Nohelia always gives clear tasks and provides delicious food for me. She's also very strong and smart! Jay is very chilled and a man who keeps his promises! Highly recommend for those valuing sustainability and collaborative teams!

My time at the lodge was so wonderful. Jay and Nohelia were so welcoming from the moment I arrived. They helped me with my Spanish, taught me to make empanadas and gallo pinto and more! They were both incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding nature and animals and I learned so much! The property is stunning and so peaceful, it's a little tricky to get places without a car but I managed to da couple weekend trips to other cities and would walk into town a couple times a week.

I had such an incredible experience in the lodge. Nohelia and Jay are wonderful people and have so much love and passion for what they do. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to meet such great people, learn new skills, and immerse myself in the incredible flora and fauna of Costa Rica.

El alojamiento es in lugar increíble rodeado de naturaleza! Disfrutamos de la tranquilidad del lugar. Trabajamos sobre todo en la cocina y algunos trabajos en huerta. Se respetan las horas de trabajo aunque quizás sería genial tener un horario semanal. Nohelia ha sido muy atenta para nosotros y predispuesta a escucharnos. Un lugar excelente para relajarte ya que está alejado y solo convivirás con naturaleza! Muchas gracias el alojamiento ♥️

Where can I start? The time I spend in the lodge was amazing, litterally a home away from home. Nohelia is an amazing woman full of love, always concerned for your well being. The tasks can depends of the needs of the place, but always in a good mood. The place is surrounded by nature, just note that this is a quiet and peacefull place. Muchisimas gracias para todo, Siempre estarás en mi corazón.

My time at the lodge was truly incredible! I originally signed up for 2 weeks and within less than a week I asked if I could extend my time here. The property is absolutely gorgeous! :) I enjoyed being immersed in nature here. There are so many trees, birds, reptiles amphibians, insects and beautiful sounds. The air and water is so pure and clean. The owners Nohe and Jay were just the kindest humans, I really felt at home here. :) The work exchange is fair and the life skills you will gain are priceless. I highly recommend the lodge! 🥰 Me encanta the lodge!
