Experiência massa! O lugar é muito bem localizado e possui uma estrutura bem interessante, com dois hostels com propósitos diferentes.. Se você quiser fazer novas amizades, socializar e conhecer gente de todo o mundo... esse é o voluntariado pra isso. Se você espera apenas cumprir seus horários, esquecer um pouquinho o voluntariado e curtir a cidade por conta própria... aí eu já não recomendo. Tenha em mente que você vai ficar imerso ao hostel, com reuniões diárias (mesmo nos seu day off), tarefas extras que você precisa aplicar e presença nos eventos. As tarefas são relativamente simples.

Voluntariar no hostel foi uma experiência mágica. Eu fiquei no Urban, o chilling hostel e foi perfeito pra mim, me adaptei ao trabalho, a instalação e a equipe bem rápido e logo me senti parte da família. Vivi aqui um dos melhores momentos da minha vida, criei conexões extremamente fortes, amizades incríveis e aproveitei ao máximo todas as experiências que bratislava teve pra me oferecer. Recomendo à todos, é uma experiência maravilhosa, mas é pra pessoas que tem muita energia e são sociáveis, é trabalho de dia e festa de noite, então tem que ter disposição pra curtir tudo ao máximo

Eu voluntariei no Urban o hostel e não no hostel, e foi melhor para mim. Ambos são hostels da mesma rede, porém o hostel é um Party Hostel, Urban é o hostel para ir curar a ressaca e relaxar. Não sou muito de party hard então o hostel combinou comigo. Eles davam um valor por semana para o grupo para comida; podíamos participar dos pub crawls; a acomodação pode ser melhorada, o quarto é muito pequeno para muitas pessoas. O trabalho era tranquilo. A cidade é pequena mas o país é interessante para visitar, há montanhas incríveis! A turma de voluntários era maravilhosa!

Amazing stay at Wild Elefant Hostel! Met such lovely people, the vibe was super welcoming, and the managers deserve big credit. The lake party was a total highlight 100% recommended. I'll definitely be back. As we joked: 'the next thing to do is return to the basement because SURPRISE there's a round two… use your brain. Amen.🪩👯🇸🇰

My time at the Wild the hostel just flew by… While it was a bit overwhelming at first, the managers and volunteers are just so welcoming and you are integrated into the community very quickly. I came here with a close friend of mine and although we were at first confused that we weren't put in the same Hostel, we soon understood that that helps you connect and socialize the best while still seeing each other a lot. It was such a fun summer experience that enabled me to grow, especially with becoming more open and extroverted. We'll definitely both be back in the future:)

This was my first volunteering experience and it has been life changing for me, I learned so much about myself and had the chance to develop my social skills, practice my English and getting out of my comfort zone. In both Wild and Urban Elephant hostels I got to meet so many people every day and made a lot of friends among the volunteers and the guests, all the activities are so much fun and if you like to party this is the right place for you!! Working hours were the same as agreed although I recommend the host to inform new volunteers about the staff meetings sooner. Thank you!!🫶🏻

This was my first volunteer and solo travel experience and I loved it so much. The managers and other volunteers were very nice and welcoming and it was very easy to make friends with the people around me. The guests were also very fun to make friends and socialize with. The work was doable but if there was a lot, you would sometimes go over your shift time a little. It is not a crazy amount but some days were definitely busier than others. It is a great place to get immersed in the city with daily slovak lunches and daily activities around the city. It was overall an amazing experience!

This was not my first volunteering experience but definitely my favorite one. The work was not too difficult but challenging enough for plenty of personal growth. I appreciated the opportunity to take reception trainings and the experience that comes with meeting many people from around the world. Besides the guests that I befriended, the bond between the volunteers in Urban was very wholesome as well. There was always someone to go to for questions or advice which is great. The activities were a lot of fun, especially the night lake swims and taking guests to have local Slovak lunch:)

I don't think I've ever had this much fun in my life. It was chaotic and the work wasn't easy but totally worth it. I met so many amazing people, and the managers and other staff were lovely and went out of their way to help. I will definitely be back!
