I had such a lovely time at Emine's farm. The hours and schedule were well respected and communicated, the tasks weren't too strenuous but were rewarding and let you get your hands dirty, the accommodations were nice and well equipped, and the food was amazing and always came with easy flowing conversation. I absolutely enjoyed the routine, the work, the stuff to do on days off, the animals… everything. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants a local farm experience.

Volunteering in Emine's farm was a great experience. She is really fair with the times and organized with the activities. I really enjoy my time in the farm, learn a lot about agriculture, spend time in nature and take care of the beautiful animals in the farm. I am happy about the time and conversation in the dinner table, it was really amazing to share the opinions with the people here. So grateful for the experience 🙏☺️🥳

I really loved my stay at Emine's. Emine takes great pride in maintaining the accommodation very well, and the food was amaaaazing. Sometimes she can come across blunt, but it is just because she is trying to do the best for the farm; if you are a sensitive person I would just be aware of this. The farm is beautiful and in a great location. The work hours are well agreed upon, with breaks, and Emine is extremely fair. Thank you so much Emine 💗💗 (I am picturing you reading this out to Camila at the dinner table haha.)

Emine's farm is a great place for some balance of hard work, learning new skills and rest. The days are well scheduled for having no rush, putting some solid hours of hard work and having plenty of free time. The meals are delicious and abundant! The jobs are rewarding and it changed depending what the farm needs in the moment. I enjoyed my stay and recommend this place. Thank you Emine.

We ended up extending a couple of days as we enjoyed it that much. Emine is a funny, intelligent, wonderful person. We had so many interesting conversations around the table at meal time- actually it was one of the highlights of each day. The food is absolutely amazing! We enjoyed the tasks around the farm as there are a variety… be prepared to get your hands dirty! Some days walking the dogs is part of the working day as well. Good options to spend your days off. Bedrooms were lovely and clean. Our first world packers experience has set the bar high! Thank you so much Emine.

The first week went relatively well. Tasks were both physical and less physical. Walking the dogs is a nice break. Because Emine has quite a rigid temperament, and one of the rules is "don't take initiative", I was definitely surprised by how exaggerated her reaction was when I took "initiative" due to miscommunication. The 2nd week she started being short-tempered and very cynical. It felt like walking on egg shells. The atmosphere became uncomfortable and when I tried to talk to her, her narrative was the only right one. I left early because I wasn't feeling welcome and comfortable anymore.

I could no longer handle someone who perceived everything in the wrong way. It was very tiring for me. He has started behaving very negatively and rudely in the last few days. Since I was so sick, I continued my daily routines with a mask on my mouth and it was incredible that he argued with me because of this. His communication with other volunteers was poor, he didn't come to breakfast without telling anyone, and eventually left the farm earlier than expected without even cleaning his room.

My 2 week stay has been quite nice. The work was easy and the working hours were respected. The accommodation and food are a dream and the dogs and cats are adorable. You walk the dogs every day (in your working hours) which is really nice and calming. The dogs are quite strong tho, so be prepared to get some muscles 😂

I spend two weeks on Emine's farm and it was absolutely amazing. The work was well explained and the hours were always respected. The work was sometimes a bit exhausting, but I didn't mind that, especially knowing that Emine's delicious and traditional home cooking was waiting for me afterwards. I would spend a lot of the work hours walking the dogs, which was an absolute treat. On my days off, Emine was very helpful with arranging a trip to one of the nearby cities. I really recommend this experience and I already miss Emine, the other volunteers and of course all the cats and dogs

Our first volunteering experience with Emine set a high standard. She communicated expectations clearly, was very hospitable, and shared delicious traditional dishes and stories about Turkish history and culture. Emine was equally curious about us and had a great sense of humor. We gained valuable insights into organic farming, and though the work was challenging, she balanced hours well and tailored tasks to our skill level. Her patience with our mistakes was really appreciated. We highly recommend volunteering with Emine to anyone eager to learn new skills and engage with local culture.
