The location is beautiful, facility is clean and work is fun, clearly communicated and good benefits. They provide everything you need and you feel very welcomed and taken care of. They invited me to really be part of the hostel and also the everyday life of the place. Big plus is the yoga studio and teacher, as well as the people you are working with in the bar! A big challenge was one of the guys in the kitchen who was crossing my boundaries at the beginning of the stay, and I did not feel comfortable enough to tell the manager. However, the time here was really special and beautiful.

I loved it! Fernando was very friendly, accommodating, and flexible when needed. I got there during the storm, so there were some humidity issues but we worked through it. The place is beautiful, the beach although it's a little tricky to get them to let you in as a local, is the most gorgeous thing. Everywhere was accessible with the bike. The locals are very nice, the volunteers I met were amazing, aswell as the overall team. The cooks, bartender, maintenance guy, owner, and dogs were very fun to work with. The only unpleasant person was the cleaning girl but other than that it was perfect.

Go with your eyes closed, you'll love it! Fernando is incredible and takes care of the whole team. There's no better volunteering than the hostel !

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel. I am going cherish all the great memories I have made over my time at the hostel. The people who work there are amazing and I am truly going to miss them. The only thing I wished I would have done differently was being better at Spanish, it would have helped, but I still had an amazing time

I don't know how I can thank Flutter enough for everything. My time there was indescribable! I learned a lot there and grew personally. The shifts were accurate and the work was clearly communicated. It's a perfect place if you want to start volunteering or if you already have experience with it. You'll have a lot time to explore the nature and activities around Uvita. The food there was also so well prepared. The team was so kind and welcomed, I immediately felt at home. the hostel isn't just a hostel, it's a home for everyone from everywhere and I will definitely come back!

La ubicación del hostal es muy buena, cerca del parque nacional marino ballena, Uvita en general es seguro pero igual nunca está de más tener cuídado. El hostal es un lugar tranquilo, en donde conocerás otros voluntarios y viajeros, se respetan los horarios y a veces Fernando es muy flexible ante las situaciones de la vida (jajaja graciaaaaas). Las tareas en el hostel son faciles de realizar, en mi caso era temporada baja así que no había mucho que hacer, aún así debes cumplir con las horas de voluntareado acordadas!!

החוויה בהוסטל הייתה. מעולה ,הייתי בעונה החלשה אז לא היה הרבה עבודה אבל כל העובדים סופר נחמדים וזה ממש מקום קטן שמרגיש כמו משפחה העבודה קלילה ביותר . ממש אבל , קרוב לים. אם באלכם להכיר יותר מקומיים ומקום שהוא רגוע זה בול המקום.

I had a great time at the hostel! Everyone was super welcoming and Fernando creates a positive work environment. Great place to come to meet new people and relax. Uvita is beautiful and very chill. Would definitely recommend, so grateful and happy with my experience here!
