My time at this beautiful home has sadly come to an end, all I can truly say is that it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Every single staff member was incredibly kind, welcoming and always willing to help whenever needed. The same goes to my coworkers, who made the time there even more special. The living area, kitchen and accommodation were all absolutely lovely and we spent so much time together which really made it feel like home. And when it comes to the work it was super easy and well organized. All in all I truly can not recommend this place enough. Thank you!

During my stay here I was very comfortable in every way. The staff is incredible and always tries to help you with everything. It's very well located next to a station. I will never stop being grateful for how much fun I had and I'm sure I'll return in the future, even if it's just as a guest. Thank you for everything the hostel!!

I worked here for two months and had a very enjoyable experience. The staff at the hostel are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which makes it easier to integrate into the hostel. The tasks I was responsible for were very fair and having three days off each week is generous; it provides a lot opportunity to explore the nearby cities.

Loved working here! It was my first time im Japan, and I've felt very welcome here overall. The schedule is really easy to follow and so are the tasks, and they're always there if you ever need help, which is always appreciated! I made amazing connections thanks to this stay, so I hope I'll be able to come back as soon as possible again <3

I had such a great time here spending 1.5 months with the nice and friendly bunch making me feel welcome since day one! The place is spacious, clean, and the atmosphere is nice. The work itself is easy and straightforward. I felt at home here and look forward to come back one day!

I had such a great experience at J-hopper! The staff is so kind, welcoming and flexible, they really made me feel at home from day one. I stayed a short time and learned one main task, I saw that volunteers who stay longer get to learn different tasks and rotate between them — it keeps things fun and varied! The hostel itself is clean, cozy, and well-located, perfect for exploring Osaka or going to the hostel Studios. The team is always helpful, and the atmosphere among volunteers is really friendly if you're looking for a fun, and friendly place to volunteer in Japan, I can totally recommend!

I spend one and a half month in this hostel and I had the best time working and having fun with the whole team ! Working hours are reasonable and work is easygoing. The whole staff is welcoming and it's super friendly hostel I recommend !

The hostel has been m'y home in Osaka for 3 months and has been amazing. Tte work is easy and well organized, so you have lost of time to explore and enjoy the Kansai area. You can feel truly at home in the common areas and the kitchen. And the best part is the staff and the volunteers, always having fun and being super welcoming. Thanks

I stayed at the hostel for roughly two months and it was a great time! There is a fridge, pantry area and washing machine just for staff to use which is super handy when the hostel is fully booked with guests. The staff are all really friendly and welcoming, and always happy to help with any travel suggestions and generalised support. The work is very fair, with tasks rotating between staff and the work never extends 3 hours per shift. Management is also helpful with creating shift schedule flexibility should you want to explore this. Highly recommended!

The hostel was my first stay in Japan, and I can say it was a grest experience! The hostel is a bit far from center of the city, but there is a metro 5 minutes walking so its no problem. Also, the visitors are calm and wont make much noise, since most of them come to visit OUS. The staff I met there were great, and we had a grest time together! We did alot of stuff together and everyone was very respectful. I definitely recommend staying at this hostel!
