What a beautiful project and experience! Rach and Ben were the loveliest hosts: so helpful, kind, supportive. They really go above and beyond to make volunteers feel at home and taken care of, and they create a beautiful work/community culture with clear boundaries, a relaxed environment and plenty of socialising opportunities after work. The facilities are clean and having your own room is such a treat. As for the island, it is truly breathtaking and having the chance to spend a long time in it is an absolute privilege. Forever grateful for this experience!

My time with GKI the camping was absolutely unforgettable, spending two to three weeks of paradise. The island itself is breathtakingly beautiful, offering a wealth of activities to keep you engaged and entertained every single day. Rachael and Ben were exceptional. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel like I was part of their family from the moment I arrived. They were always eager to help and ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The work was very simple and quick. Just three hours each morning, leaving plenty of time to explore the island or relax.

I had a wonderful time on the camping. The current managers, Rachael and Ben are very welcoming and friendly and the camping has a relaxed and homely feel. The daily work was fine - tasks were explained clearly and it felt comfortable to ask questions or discuss issues if need be. the camping itself is an amazing place - very peaceful with the camping snorkelling and hiking. I hope to come back sometime.

I had an amazing time at the camping! 🌞 The managers Rachael & Ben are lovely people, that made me feel very welcome, they were always open to any questions and were very helpful and understandable. In the short time that I met the over Geoff he was also lovely, relaxed and welcoming. The other staff were awesome and made my stay as positive as it was! The daily tasks are very reasonable, in return i got to spend my days on a paradise island🏝️ It was an unforgettable experience and I would recommend it to others!

I had an amazing experience at the camping. We worked from 9:00 am-12:00, for a total of three hours. The location is beautiful, with endless snorkeling, hiking, and outdoor activities. I would recommend bringing more food than you think you'll need!

I had such a the camping experience here! Nathan and Sue were so welcoming and I felt very at home during my stay. The island is so beautiful and the work required of you is easy. Really recommend!!

Catherine is a fine young women, she completed all the tasks we gave her without fuss, she cooperated well with her peers and managers. I highly recommend Catherine to any future employer. You are welcome back here at anytime.

I had such a the camping time living here for two months! Ant and Jeppe were very welcoming and accommodating. The work is easy and doesn't take much out of your day which you can use to explore the beautiful island. Definitely recommend and would love to come back :)

Amazing experience! Volunteers stay in staff glamping tents and work 9-12 every day. Duties are general house keeping and gardening and tailor to each volunteer. (I hate gardening so the most i really had to so was raking sand) Facilities are amazing, no wifi tho, and staff hang around alot together for a good social life

I stayed on the camping for 4 weeks, it was really beautiful, lovely beach and hikes (although a little over grown) and so quiet. the camping was welcome and peaceful, the managers were nice and friendly, and the work was straightforward and easy. All in all a good time

Beautiful island - definitely worth a visit! Always something to do, beautiful beaches that are never overcrowded (usually to yourself), lots of hikes and activities to always keep you busy. Managers change every few months and depending on who your managers are experience may vary. Not having a grocery store was no problem, easy to place orders online and not overly expensive. Facilities are the camping, everything you need in the communal kitchen and washrooms.
