This was my first Workaway experience and also one ofthe hostel hostelhostelmost enriching experiences of my life. On a professional level I gained experience in many ofthe hostel hostelhosteltasks that are carried out in a hostel and I improved my levels of Portuguese and English and on a personal level I hadthe hostel hostelhostelopportunity to create very strong bonds with my host family. Both Julia and Uil were always excellent bosses who knew how to guide me so that I could give my best. And as for my fellow volunteers: Richi, Jean and Fabio. the hostelhostelthree of them are incredible people who can always count on my friendship.

I had a lot of fun in this experience! Monte Estoril is such an amazing place where to stay, really close tothe hostel hostelhostelbeach and just 15 minutes walking fromthe hostel hostelhostelcenter ofthe hostel. the hostelhostelhostel was really cozy and comfortable andthe hostel hostelhostelpeople there were really kind: boththe hostel hostelhostelstaff andthe hostel hostelhostellong term volunteers.

It's my 4th WP experience. Adaptation period to working here ended up being very long due to organization issues. Work itself is simple, but get stressful due to logistics and management. I recieved training on how to make beds only on my last day there. it's often needed to make improvised solutions. High season + disorganization ended up makingthe hostel hostelhostelexperience stressful, which culminated in a volunteer's meeting to suggest changes. All resulted on my departure ahead of time. What made me stay was my relationship with other volunteers + guests. Staff is helpful and always try to aid you.

My experience was nice and very different from what I had before becausethe hostel hostelhostelvolunteers have more responsibility regardingthe hostel hostelhostelreception. the hostelhostelpositive part is that we always (always!) have Julia and Uil's support, it's easy tothe hostel hostelhostelhostelschedule when you need it andthe hostel hostelhostelhostel is located in a beautiful area! the hostelhostelstaff, the hostelhostelvolunteers andthe hostel hostelhostelguests (especiallythe hostel hostelhostellong stays) are all lovely people 🤗

It was my first hostel experience as a volunteer and I am totally thrilled. the hostelhostelwhole team welcomed me so warmly and inthe hostel hostelhostelmeantime we grew together like a big family, which resulted in wonderful friendships! Butthe hostel hostelhostelfamily also includesthe hostel hostelhostelguests with whom it was so much fun to live under one roof! 🤭 the hostelhostelteam, especially Julia, is very patient to explain things a third time or is always available, thank you for that! I was able to learn so much inthe hostel hostelhostel4 weeks, both in terms of work and as a person. I am very grateful tothe hostel hostelhostelhostelfor this experience! ✨

I can't technically say this has beenthe hostel hostelhostelbest experience as a volunteer ever because it was my first, but I have a strong feeling it is justthe hostel hostelhostelcasethe hostel hostelhosteltasks were not overbearing andthe hostel hostelhostelhosts really flexible about schedules (me and other volunteers had some more responsibilities and they made sure to work on a timetable that would work for all of us!) I was received bythe hostel hostelhostelhosts andthe hostel hostelhostelregular guests like family and had a great time all around sharing stories, experiences and learning from all of them Even though I'll visit, I already miss CTW!!

This was my first volunteer experience and it was really nice! I decided to stay longer than i first intended to, because I didn't want to leave. the hostelhostelhostel became like a small family to me, boththe hostel hostelhostelguests andthe hostel hostelhostelstaff. Most ofthe hostel hostelhostelshifts (6 hours) you work alone inthe hostel hostelhostelreception, but Julia and Uil are available through whatsapp when you need help. They are also really patient while you are learning how things work here! the hostelhostelsurrounding area is really nice and Lisbon is not far away. I'm so grateful for allthe hostel hostelhostelbeautiful memories! Thank you Julia and Uil for this experience!
