Jackie is lovely! Always making sure everyone is comfortable and cooking for everyone with a lot of effort. I enjoyed my stay with the other volunteers just as much as my lovely conversations with Jackie! To sum it up I had a great time with some hard work:) However I do want to add that the workhours were not always known in advance. Sometimes we didnt know when to start in the morning which could lead to us sitting around waiting to work, not really being able to use the free hours to do something fun. But most days went by nicely! Much love to you Jackie, you've got a lot on your plate<3

Fue buena en general el ingles de la host es británico tal y como me gusta, así que pude practicar con ella y con los compañeros. Iba a quedarme unas semanas pero me fui a los 3 días, me sentí incómodo en la habitación , muchas cosas allí dentro, polvo y desorden. (Hay que tener esto en cuenta, serán días incómodos con contaminación visual.) Si hubiese tenido mejor lugar para descansar hubiera continuado allí. Por otra parte hubo algunas discusiones con la host y no sabe expresar las cosas, fue un poco grosera en algún momento, incluso decía que me callara y que no hablara.

Left early. About the place, to many things, so they just pile up in and outside. Garden (where we worked) was filthy. Doing things that have little sense. So far all things I can manage, it's part of working. However, the host thinks she's doing you a favor, using you as much she could to make you worth it. She'd order and unorder you like a dog and even scream at you, saying all you do is wrong, and that she'd get mad from how slow we were. When I broke down, cried, went for a walk to reflect and lastly said I would be leaving, she kicked me out saying how desapointed the others would be.

Mary is always worried about you, trying everyday to make activities after work and talking to everyone. The hours were respected everyday, the work was hard, but she would always ask if it is too much to you and be aware about your safety. Each one will do the jobs that fits the most. The accommodation has everything and the food was great. If you are willing to live it, you won't have a problem. Shorty and Channel are great companies, just like Selma. You will defined have fun, laughters and connect to nature in this countryside.

Regarding the claims about the sleeping and eating arrangements, I assure you that we provide accurate descriptions and images of our facilities. However, if there were any discrepancies, I would like to address them promptly. I am also open to viewing any pictures or feedback you have to better understand your concerns.

I would also like to address some issues that occurred during your stay. I recall you expressing a preference for certain nationalities, which was inappropriate and unprofessional. Additionally, there were incidents that caused significant disruptions, including leaving with another volunteer without notice, locking me out of my home, and neglecting the care of the animals.

Maintaining a respectful and cooperative environment is important for the well-being of all volunteers and hosts. I hope we can resolve any misunderstandings and move forward positively.

The experience was not what I expected. The work was OK, just prepare for it to be dirty/dusty and it was really not that fulfilling. What bothered me most of all was the living space. The pictures used were not at all the space we stayed in. Nothing really felt clean or hygienic, including the kitchen area - another volunteer mentioned having stomach problems/potential food poisoning. The sleeping and eating areas constantly had a ton of flies, and that's just not something I'm comfortable with. I really liked it at Mary's house! She is so sweet and kind! I loved all her animals and was able to spend time by nature while working with her! Mary always made sure we were well fed -- always making sure to cook us food that we liked! The work can feel overwhelming because there is so much stuff to do. Her house is also a bit messy, but that's why we're there to help! The location is absolutely beautiful and I had a lot of fun going to different villages near her place! I'll miss Chanel, Shorty, Beauty, Salma, and the other volunteers! I'll miss you and Salma, Mary!

Mary is a sweet, warm, funny, attentive and open minded person. Some tasks were very dusty, but at the end the home day its always nice to see the results. I often cleaned stuff or reorganized. Mary respects and appreciates your working hours. I already miss Shorty, Chanel and Beauty (the dogs and cats). It's nice to explore the villages nearby. The nature there is beautiful. Mary cooks nice food and always makes sure you eat enough. I would recommend to bring old clothes, your own gloves and bring an anti mosquito spray. Jackie es una persona alucinante, cocina muy rico y es muy divertida, las mascotas del lugar son muy tiernas y Salma y Ash son muy amables tambien, es un lugar que requiere de la ayuda de muchas manos ya que ella está en proceso de limpiar y organizar; al principio me sorprendí un poco porque el lugar no era exactamente el de las fotos, y puede llegar a ser bastante distinto, pero a pesar de todo disfruté pasar tiempo con las otras voluntarias y además hay varios lugares bastante lindos cerca de la casa. Ademas tiene facil acceso del transporte publico, solo hace falta caminar un poco.

I absolutely loved it here. Jackie is the sweetest woman wich you've probably read by now from the other revieuws, but it's really true! The dogs are lovely and I met other amazing volenteers too. Everyone makes you feel very included. The only thing is that the space is sometimes a bit unhygienic, since we slept and ate in the same space and there is alot of stuff. Still 100 percent reccomend though🫶🏼 🫶🏼
