Sammatz is not only a beautiful place anymore. I can say it is my second home, my heart family. Here I had deep connections and many learnings that I will take for all my life. I know my time here is only the beginning. I lived only the tip of the iceberg. Sammatz is a place for everyone, but not everyone is for Sammatz. You need to have an open mind to live here. Then you will be able to feel one of the best experiences of your life. I don't have many words now, just know that each one of you is in my heart. You are part of my history. You helped me grow and learn a lot.

Last summer I had an incredible time I decided to come again and this time for the whole summer. It was such a beautiful experience. Here you feel you are on another world, you really do meet strangers that become friends and you really do live together, you work, play and share. It feels like a home far from home, the mentors put so much effort into the volunteers and I know that they are just hoping to see you soon! 💞

I had a wonderful experience volunteering at Sammatz. I worked in construction and really enjoyed the tasks, learning new things every day. The people there are friendly and supportive, which made the work even more enjoyable. It was a great opportunity to connect with different cultures and be part of such a meaningful project.

Staying at sammatz was a truly amazing experience. I feel like I made so many lifelong connections here and I felt so present in my experience. The work isn't too physically demanding and the tasks are always diverse. The bluehouse is a nice communal space with lots of space and is clean. I hope I'll return at some point in the future :)

Foi minha primeira experiência internacional e não poderia ter sido melhor. Cheguei em um período com muitos voluntarios então tinha muita gente de diversos lugares. As atividades são repassadas sempre no dia anterior e são tarefas simples de serem cumpridas - algumas exaustivas. Ha comida disponível 24 HS por dia, de seg a sab o almoço é com todos e também tem o horário do café da tarde que é servido café/suco e cake. Criei laços pra vida, treinei o inglês e o espanhol ( tinha muitos falantes de língua espanhola). Super recomendo para quem quer iniciar voluntariado no exterior.

From the moment you arrive, you will feel a strange warmth from all the people from different parts of the world around you, a sense of security with all the mentors who will make you feel like home, and harmony in all the paths and tasks you undertake in this place. For me, being in Sammatz is like an incredible flight in a giant airplane. 🫶🏻✈️
