Me apaixonei pelo lugar e pelas pessoas <3 todos muito acolhedores e pacientes. Tive uma conexão super positiva com ambos os "chefs" e por isso só tenho agradecer a Sauro, Elmer e todas as pessoas que fizeram parte desse pedacinho da minha viagem. Recomendação extra: é um lugar perfeito para conhecer um pouco de como funciona vida real de uma cafeteria, voce fica totalmente imerso nesse mundo do chocolate e café então tem muita oportunidade de aprendizado se você se interessa por isso E se tem um espanhol legal.

A equipe do Mikcao foi como uma família pra mim. Aprendi muita coisa legal, me conectei com a equipe, comi e bebi coisas muuuuuito gostosas. As tarefas são tranquilas e o ambiente é muito gostoso de se trabalhar.

Experiência incrível que vivenciei em Arequipa, Saulo é uma pessoa incrível, com um coração muito lindo, é super flexível, e bem de boas em relação ao voluntariado. Me contou mais sobre a cultura local, aprendi muito com ele em diversos aspectos durante o voluntariado. Gracias por tudo Saulo.

Esse voluntariado era um projeto que estava com grandes expectativas, pois no Brasil trabalhava com produção de conteúdo de café. Porém ao chegar na cafeteria a responsável me disse que não era esse o trabalho e sim, de ajudar na limpeza e na cafeteria. E mesmo não sendo o combinado, me propus a ajudar. Ao decorrer dos dias foram acontecendo várias situações desagradáveis, como por exemplo, a responsável chamar a nossa atenção na frente dos clientes. A mesma foi grossa várias vezes, tornando o voluntariado insustentável. Não houve nenhuma troca e nenhum aprendizado.

Por estés tipo de comentarios solo recibiremos ya anfitriones recomendados para por si no cumplen sus espectativas, la señorita fue dos días al café y su hospedaje estuvo una semana que se ya estaba pagado, nunca dijo devolveré me voy siguió ocupando la habitación.

Fue mi mejor experiencia como Worldpacker hasta ahora! Muy lindas vistas, chocolate el centro sin límite y buen equipo. Hice muchos amigos en el centro siempre volvería! 10/10

I had a great time with Sauro and Elmer! I coordinated with Elmer when to meet at the cafe and together we came up with ideas for content. I'd spend some hours at the cafe to record and edit content. They are both great people! And gave me good recommendations on things to do/see/eat and connected me with tour guides for a discount. I'd definitely recommend volunteering at the Center! I'm sad I didn't stay longer!

I loved my time at the Center! I originally thought I would stay for 1 week, but stayed 2 weeks. The hosts (Sauro & Elmer) are so kind and welcoming! I helped with social media & serving. Sometimes it was a bit hard to make videos if the staff working didn't want to be in them, but the staff is so kind as well (just a little camera shy)! Would recommend this experience, it's not stressful and you have time to explore Arequipa. Also the coffee & chocolate is so yummy, a nice perk!

I love being here and working. The owner is the nicest greatest person ever, he helped me for many things and made here for me like home..I would definitely recommend to experience here.. I would love to turn back here to just meet with this beautiful people again..thank you soooo much Sauro being such a perfect person, world needs more people like you 😊🙏🏻❤️

Volunteering at MI K'CAO was an incredible experience! Sauro is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and truly at home. He shares not only the café but also his passion for Arequipa, Peruvian culture, and food. The work is flexible and very educative. I learned a great deal about cacao and coffee production, from harvesting to preparation, as well as about social media and managing a café. The rooftop view is breathtaking, the team is warm and friendly, and the accommodation is cosy and right in the city center. Highly recommend!

I spent 2 weeks volunteering at the Center and that was an amazing experience. Elmer, Sauro and the team of the cafe are all beautiful people to share time with. The work is pretty chill, the food is really good and the view is stunning!
