Acredito que talvez seja algo atípico, visto que esse voluntariado tem ótimas avaliações... Mas fui recebida de uma forma não muito amigável, onde parecia que eu era somente uma funcionária e nao uma voluntária. A recepção foi estranha, a casa tinha muitas atividades para serem feitas (acredito que tenha acumulado). E também não me senti muito segura no local, talvez seja uma experiência individual, mas preferi nao continuar pois nao me senti confortável e nem bem vinda.

Minha experiência com a Gigliola foi incrível! Meu primeiro voluntariado e não poderia ter sido melhor. O lugar é extremamente tranquilo e a anfitriã super comunicativa, se mostrou presente em todos os momentos pra qualquer dúvida que tivesse. As tarefas são simples e a pousada é confortável e aconchegante. Muito próximo ao mercado e avenida principal, de trem/ônibus você vai pra qualquer lugar. As tarefas consistiam em manter o lugar limpo e organizado e checar duas vezes ao dia. Bastante tempo livre pra explorar Schio :)

Gigliola é muito receptiva, tanto que vou estender minha experiência aqui! Ela sempre comunica muito bem as tarefas e sempre tem o ajudante Worldpacker em mente, pra dar suporte e auxiliar no que for preciso.

Ha sido una buena estancia 😍 La Gigliola tiene muy buena comunicación y respeta el tiempo libre de los voluntarios. El tiempo de trabajo es muy flexible, tienes que mantener todo limpio (cocina, baños, y si hay algo para lavar o cosas puntuales) puedes elegir cuando hacerlo durante el día. He practicado italiano con los huéspedes de la casa y con gente local del pueblo! Alrededor de casa hay algunos bares, restaurantes farmacia, supermercado, parques, rutas fáciles y bonitas de senderismo. Es más tipo pueblo, muy tranquilo, no hay vida nocturna. Lo recomiendo ❤️

I had a great time in Schio! Communicating with Gigliola was easy and everything was explained clearly. The work was fair, i had a lot of free time which i used to go hiking in the mountains or explore Schio or the other citys near by. It also really was a funny experience especially due to the other italian guests living there during my stay. Great way to practice a bit my Italian and learn about italian culture! We were like a crazy little family in the end :)

Thank you gigliola for the tow weeks it was an excellent experience. From the first moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The place is clean, cozy, and well-organized, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Gigliola was kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. I'm grateful for the hospitality and would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

The host at the guest house in Schio were friendly and welcoming. Volunteering was easy and enjoyable, with plenty of time to explore the area. Schio is a small town surrounded by beautiful mountains — perfect for hiking, though there's no nightlife. Renting a car is easy, and the guest house is comfortable and peaceful. Highly recommended for a rewarding stay!

It was an amazing experience. Gigliola is an incredible person! She is super friendly, responsible and welcoming. We went hiking on the mountains and had meals together at times, with pizza and gelato ;) The tasks in the hostel consisted of daily cleaning and arranging guests' rooms, bathrooms and a shared kitchen. There are always 2 volunteers, so doing the work takes just a couple of hours. The location of the experience is a calm and cozy city, reached by bus/train. There's a nearby park and market. People on the street will salute you, being a great way to practice your Italian. Grazie!!

I've had a lovely experience in Schio. Gilgiola even went with us to the mountains by car and we had a few nice dinners together. The work was very easy. We had enough free time to explore the area.
