They promise loads of things but when you arrive there nothin happen. They don't take care about you and about the costumers. One Costumer was injured and they said to her “ we are not a clinic, go to another place”. Also some days they didn't give me anything to eat for dinner with any reason. I was the only volunteer there so it's kind of boring be the whole day alone, talking with anybody there. Finally the team there is always trying to self you happy hours and things to eat, and at the end the are charging you all the things. You should try to help and make happy the volunteers…

You stayed only 2 days here!!! You did none of the job and we had another volunteer arriving in only 3 days, you have fight the first day with a guest who told you that you was doing a really bad job as a volunteer! We always fed you ( for the 2 days you worked) and left us without paying your bill, you are blacklisted on the island and can't back, we had a really bad experience with you.

I had an amazing time at the hostel! It's the best the hostel anyone can go. The staff were sweet and I got to meet so many people. The owner, Livia is a social butterfly and is really sweet and fun. This experience got me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to interact with people. The dorm is cozy but you only get cold water to shower and I got sick due to that. Apart from that every thing's great

The hostel itself is great; it has a nice pool & decent enough rooms. The role is to promote the family dinners and run drinking games every evening. It says the role starts at 7pm, however you will be expected to sell the dinners throughout the day. You'll also have to make a poster each day for whatever drinking games you choose for the evening. I found the vibe to be a bit forceful, pushing people to drink or excluding them from games if they chose not to, which didn't suit my style. There was no constructive discussion prior to being told to leave for not doing a good enough job.

You arrived and start complaining on the first day about the job, saying that you dont drink alcohol and that you aren't a party person! This position is only made for people who likes to party A LOT and drink almost everyday, your job is to SELL and make the bar work as much as possible during the games and activities ,yes, we are a business and you are not on fulltime holliday ,its the reality, sorry to bother you with it. You left all guests at the gaming table at 9pm saying that you were going to sleep because you was tired... Come on!
There is a day shift and a night shift i let my reps decide how they want to do their schedule with the other reps, your organisation and communication with others wasn't the best neither apparently... You have been the only volunteer i had to ask to go and i would do it again if i had another person like you here.

We had a great experience overall at the hostel interacting with guests and showing them a good time! It is a hostel centred around partying so be prepared to drink a lot! We met so many people from all around the world in our 3 weeks. Livia and family are pretty clear with what they would like on arrival and welcomed us from the start.

My experience at the hostel was amazing! Livia is an amazing host, super fun and helpful. Staff where also amazing. Given task are easy and you have a lot of time to explore Gili T. I definitely recommend the hostel!
