My stay at OUR has been enriching. I've learned a lot about organization and resource management, including time and personnel. I've also met wonderful, kind-hearted people from whom I've learned a great deal and continue to learn, and I'd love to keep learning. It's also a place where you can learn a tremendous amount about permaculture, wastewater treatment with its extensive wetland system, and natural building. They have many books, but the experience of Brandy and those who built this place is invaluable. I am very grateful.

Daniel has been th most wonderful person to have within OUR Ecovillage team!! We have been blessed to have such a kind-hearted, detail-oriented, inspiring & dedicated person to not only stay with us but choos to stay on longer sharing the holidays with us as well. His interest in learning everything is helpful and hopeful-you will find Daniel jumping into whatever is going on that is either exciting or even the no so fun projects that just need doing! My experience at OUR the eco village was incredible. From the very first day, you can feel the authenticity of the place, and Brandy (the host) is super kind, creating a real sense of community. The eco-sustainable approach and permaculture teach you so much because you experience them in every activity. I went hiking, connected with wonderful people, and found a very special connection with nature and with myself. It's a genuine, conscious, and truly transformative place.

Everyone you interact with feels your positive vibe & are inspired to work together on whatever project...no matter how tedious/tiring, if it is with you!! From transforming OUR strawberry field, rocking out the kitchen to helping with the barnyard chores/animals....you really touched so many projects & hearts in your stay with us. You are honest, committed, and very skilled at group facilitation and we appreciate you!

I'm extremely grateful for this experience to learn and grow as an individual and community member of OUR the eco village. Coming with an open mind I found my time here to be an eye-opening opportunity to practice a multitude of different skills to live more sustainably in unison with the land and people, not just related to the position I applied for. Even after my short month here I'm still reflecting on new aspects I want to implement in my life and looking forward to returning again in the future!

Charlotte - you definitely brought in an outstanding amount of creativity, problem-solving, woodworking savvy, and flexibility in the design process of the 'wild-wood stairs' that your brought to life! I've learnt about myself, the land and history. It's been an amazing time at the eco village and I'm sad to have to leave before winter. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Even in only 4 weeks I feel like this place has impacted me in a great way and I'm very grateful for that. I've met many lovely and interesting people here. It's a great place for meeting locals and you end up feeling at home pretty fast ❤️ Thanks to everyone at the eco village for such a beautiful time Fred

You have put your hand to so very many aspects of the farm, whether working on your own or in a group and you bring such heart and thoughtfulness to each task. We could not have done so many things without you and remain forever grateful. Being in OUR the eco village has been one the most wonderful experiences in my life. I had the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place, learning about, planting, harvesting, permaculture and animals care. It has exceeded my expectations, because it is much more than that. it's a place to have positive interconnections with people all around the globe, to learn, help and share, to built a long term community. This experience changed my life. I connected deeply with myself and discovered my true essence. I learned a lot, including permaculture ✨ Great infrastructure, comfortable dorms, and good food. The surrounding nature is incredible. I stayed there +- 4 months. It's more about community and caring for each other than just working working hours. Everyone cooks for everyone, and the place becomes your home. Brandy, Trent, and Freya are beautiful people with kind hearts. Thank you, Brandy, for the opportunity and for working hard to make the workd a better place for everyone.💕

I had an amazing experience at OUR the eco village. It is a place full of kindness and humility. Come here to learn about the place and share your skills. They help you to use them. You learn to live differently, to adopt a new philosophy, while developing various skills. There are many beautiful places around. Baldy Mountain at sunset is one of my favorite views. This experience was good for me. I met great friends. Thank you to Brandy, Trent, and Tlithl'kawi.

Choosing to live at OUR Ecovilage means becoming a part of a community that has evolved over the past 25 years and integrating yourself into all systems. My experience here has been filled with not only wonderful relationships but significant learning about how i want to live in this lifetime. I came here originally because I wanted to learn about farm to table cooking but but I have learned so much more about Gardening, Animals, hospitality, living in community and myself then I ever thought possible. I spent 3 months, learning so much about permaculture,gardening,animals,nature and land connection,Indigenous culture,ceremonies,community life, and more. Brandy,her family,and the volunteers are amazing people.It's the perfect place if you're looking for community life and a deep connection with nature.I'd also like to mention that I'm vegetarian,and the way they treat the animals is truly lovely.Work is 5 days a week,around 7 hrs a day,and it's not heavy at all.The facilities are beautiful and comfortable.I had a lot of fun!I'll never forget this incredible experience!Hope see u again, Bran

You brought fun, inspiration for dance/music/play, & some amazing determination Eugenia. Your intention in the kitchen, gardens, hospitality, & with the animals....all was done with care and confidence. You show the ability to work independently & full out on a team! Though the work day is only 5 hrs x 5 days week...it was so appreciated that you crafted beautiful meals / cleaning for each other in the team in addition. Grateful for all you put your hand to & hope you will find your way back.
