Ter estado essas 3 semanas no the hostel foi simplesmente incrível. A Kayla e o Alex são seres humanos de grande coração. E ainda temos o pequeno Grayson (filhotinho deles). Realmente pode viver a experiência de troca cultural host × viajante. Ambos são americanos, mas pudemos comunicar em espanhol tbm. Muito obrigada por esses lindos dias com vcs. Até logo amigos e obrigada por tantas novas experiências vividas. 🙏🏻🤍🎒

Paula was an amazing manager! She communicated efficiently, and solve the problems with great communication skills and in kind and respectable way. The accommodation for volunteers was better compared to other volunteerships I was in, and they provide you with 3 meals daily which I think is a great deal!

En el the hostel recibi un linda acogida, la manager es un encanto y siempre intenta facilitar las cosas haciendo la estancia de uno mas amena. El trueque entre lo dado y lo recibido esta muy bien, tanto la habitacion en la que uno se hospeda como la comida. Volveria a repetir, las tareas fueron amenas y el trato hermoso. Gracias por lo compartido.🤍

Trabajas 5 horas y dos dias libres esta modalidad me ayudo para poder trabajar en linea y tambien para poder salir a conocer a los alrededores de Antigua Guatemala. Ubicacion: no esta lejos del centro por lo que puedes ir caminando a todos lados y conocer la ciudad de noche. Trabajo: las actividades que debes hacer son faciles horarios rotativos pues son 3 turnos en la mañana tarde y noche. Socializar: el lugar es acogedor y familiar durante las cenas y desayunos puedes conversar con otros viajeros. Aprendi mucho de atencion al cliente. Gracias por todo! Les deseo exitos en el Hostal.

Absolutely wonderful experience I had at Hostel the hostel. I learned a lot about working in Reception, selling tours and shuttles for guests in English and Spanish. The host is super warm and friendly and I enjoyed with the other volunteers whom made my time enjoyable. Antigua is a lovely and secure city to explore. Besides, the Hostel is quiet and cozy at breakfast and dinner time. It has a good location and my tasks were always respected. They are flexible and committed in case you want to travel around Guatemala. The volunteer room is exceptional and the beds are comfortable.

My first hostel volunteering experience was unforgettable! I planned to stay just a few weeks, but I fell in love with the place and extended my time. Connecting with the locals was incredible—they taught me new things about culture, language, and life every day. The vibe was super chill, with friendly people and great flexibility for exploring. Being vegetarian was a plus too, as everyone was into healthy, eco-friendly living. This hostel was more than a stay; it was about learning, connecting, and having a blast!

El hostel es hermoso, cómodo, buena onda y su equipo de trabajo es amigable y compañero. El hostel está bien ubicado, cerca del mercado y del centro. El voluntariado es muy cómodo, sus horarios y tareas son respetadas, flexibles y simples. El ambiente es tranquilo y se descansa muy bien. El cuarto de voluntarios es genial, espacioso y las camas comodísimas! 🤍 La comida es riquísima, tienen un menú de desayuno y una family dinner espectacular! La vista el hostel terraza es perfecta, y está en proceso de convertirse en un pequeño paraíso entre volcanes... Lo recomiendo totalmente✌🏻.

Immediate impressions of the hostel is how cosy and friendly it is, definitely has a family vibe to it. There's only 28 guests max so it's not too overwhelming compared to the other big hostels in Antigua making it more intimate. Really peaceful roof terrace with a hammock, full equipped kitchen you can use and the volunteer room has double sized bunk beds which was a refreshing change to standard single hostel beds! Shifts aren't too tricky and instructions are clear. Probably the best volunteering experience I've had, loved the crew and really enjoyed my stay!

Chris was an amazing volunteer. He worked at both of our hostel locations. He really helped foster the vibe we created for our hostels. He helped make our guests feel at home. When we opened our new hostel, he was one of our first volunteers. He worked very hard to help us with our opening and the start of our hostel and restaurant, where he had to do many tasks from cleaning and checking in guests to making smoothies and serving tables. We really appreciate Chris and welcome him back any time with open arms!

I stayed at the hostel for four weeks and i had the best time! I worked with a wonderful team and i feel so greatful for the amazing people i met working there, both the guests, employees and management. Antigua was the perfect city to stay for a longer time, the city and the hostel quickly felt like home. I did spanish school while volunteering, and Dylan made my schedual so that it fit perfectly with my classes. the work is just as described, very easy to get used to, and whenever i had questions, someone was always around to help. I couldn't be happier with my decision to volunteer!
