I would recommend this place if you're looking for something peaceful, quiet and some time to reflect. I've learned so much just by being here. The sauna is to die for, the lake is gorgeous, the staff is nice, friendly and helpful, the hours agreed are always respected and the work is never too hard. Thank you so much for this experience!! I loved every second of it! :)

Genuinely one of the best experiences of my life. The entire team were so beautifully kind and welcoming, such genuinely amazing people. My caravan where a stayed was to die for, sooo cosy and best view ever. The place itself was unbelievably beautiful, every time I was outside It was awe inspiring, I got the see the most amazing Aurora, stratospheric clouds, jaw dropping sunsets, polar night, the list is endless. The work was very easy and varied, and they were very receptive to feedback about what jobs people preferred to do, shift times etc. I could not recommend this more 🫶

My stay at the camping was (again) amazing! I visited once before during the spring, but to see the winter in full effect now was super special. I had the opportunity to see aurora's, polar clouds and the polar night. Helping on the tours was super cool. Marie, who leads the tour, is a very kind person and always ready to help if needed. She is a great tour guide for the guests, which gives amazing energy. The work on the tours was easy and very doable. The hours are as agreed in the beginning, which is very reasonable. Also the talking with the guests is nice, as they are all super kind.

One of the best experiences of my life 💙. They are extremely sweet people and concerned about you, a very good atmosphere develops between everyone. I left with a lot of sadness of this place but happy for everything I lived! The auroras are amazing! Speachless The tasks at the camping are easy and fun, I enjoyed it a lot :) Karolina is great and amazing person, Marie is a sunshine and love. Thanks to each one of you in the team, thanks the camping! 💙🫶

Ámbar is very professional and excels in the tasks she performs. We were more than satisfied with her work. She helped us with the cleaning of the common areas, cabins and taking care of the laundry. We are so happy that she create for us wooden magnets which remind our guest about time spent in Swedish Lapland. She is so talented! We also spent great time with her and the team, she's a very interesting person and we hope the best for you in the future. Thank you again!

The camping was my first volunteer experience and I could not have asked for a better opportunity! The people were so kind and we became like family, I'll miss them so much. The work is very reasonable. I'm sad to leave this little the camping, it is such a lovely place under the Northern Lights :)

We are really grateful to have had Natalie at Camp Alta. She is very efficient, quick and always ready to help. As well as being efficient in her work, she's a kind person with whom you'll have a great time outside work too!
Natalie was helping us with reception task as well and our guest were really happy too. Thanks again and I wish you all the best for your next adventures :)

It was my first Worldpackers experience and I'd give it 8/10! The team is really welcoming and after a while you feel like you're in your second home. Everyone is very helpful and the work was what we agreed on! The team is mostly international so you also get to meet people from different countries. :) When I was in the camping (October), it was during the low season and there were only 2 volunteers at that time and not many guests (I knew that before I came) so the place felt a little bit quiet and isolated but during winter/summer it won't be an issue as there'll be many people around. :)

I had a wonderful experience at the camping, definitely my best so far. I had a lot of fun everybody was really nice and made me feel at home. The place is really beautiful, and you get to do different tasks. I loved everything (and also the quad😅) thanks and see you soon

I had the best experience in the camping! The place is indeed beautiful, but it was specially nice because of the team ❤️ everybody is kind and friendly, so it was very easy to feel comfortable. The tasks were fair and clear, and the team members constantly asked and cared about my wellbeing. We made some tours and hikes together, we cooked and chatted and hung out in the sauna. There was always something to do, so I was never bored nor did I feel lonely. If you're looking for a chill and fun experience surrounded by super nice people, in a very family-like environment, this is it! Thank youu 😊

What a wonderful place the camping is. Thanks to the whole team especially Marie, Nico and Pranav for making sure the volunteers are treated well! Really good bunch of people running this the camping and what's more you can go in the sauna, take the boat fishing, or pick berries in the forest when you are not working. Also got to try lots of new foods I'd never had such as a Pike Curry whipped up by the famous chef Azhar! Cheers guys!

The camping is a place surrounded by beautiful nature. The work is fair for what you get and they are flexible and hear you out if you want to do something. The food allowance is enough for your needs and the shared dinner offers a nice bonding time. In the camping I could go to the sauna or rowing on the boat in my free time. the camping is a bit far from the city center but if you don't have a driving license there is always someone to help you out. I think what made the experience incredible was the people at the camping who are understanding. I had a great time and I am very thankful.
