My experience in samaritan volunteers was amazing. All was perfect. The comunication with Emmanuel, the acommodation in volunteers house, my work in the project… i would like to say thanks specially to Emmanuel, Jackson , Mfaume and the rest people that works in the house. They are amazing people and they did care of all of us. This was my first volunteer and was perfect!

My time at the volunteer program was truly life changing.The children were incredibly sweet and full of joy.saying goodbye to them brought me to tears…even though I was there for only 3 weeks, I felt completely at home as if I had been living there for much longer. I was warmly welcomed from the very beginning and everyone I met was always kind, caring and supportive.♥️the organization took such good care of us-from delicious meals to exciting trips and meaningful activities we were always looked after.There was a strong sense of community and I'm beyond grateful to have been part of it.

David was very nice, Asha's home stay was super good. It was very interesting. I stayed for 4 weeks which was very nice!

My experience with THO was really nice! Asha's homestay was very welcoming, and arranged perfectly. My visits at the hospital showed me things I would not be able to see or learn in my own country, and confirmed my interest in international healthcare. I also got to learn about the wonderful work THO does for the outreach program. Thank you David for this opportunity and keep up all the good work you do!

I had a great experience in THO for 3weeks 😊 House was so safe and everybody in hospital was friendly. We could go hospital at the shift we want, it was really flexible. I met a lot of friends from all over the world. Actually I really miss there now 😂

My experience volunteering with Samaritan Volunteers was amazing! I had the opportunity to contribute to various activities, and I felt really welcomed by the local community, teachers, and children. My time in the organization deepened my understanding of global the organization the importance of community involvement. I had an absolute incredible experience at Samaritan Volunteers! Volunteers have the chance to help the community in so many different ways. The organization was really well structured and we always had the possibility to talk to them if we had any questions. Also for weekend activities they help a lot to organize whatever you want.

I cannot recommend the organization enough! Dar es Salaam is a wonderful city with much to do! David and Francesca are amazing about organizing group activities, encouraging you to go on weekend trips and more! I stayed at Asha's house, a volunteer house that holds 7 volunteers, the host mother, and her family! Asha cooks local cuisine for breakfast and dinner. You spend your days at the hospital! I spent most of my time in the ED and surgery; it was SUCH a valuable experience. The doctors and nurses are so kind and helpful, encouraging you to be hands-on and learn! So wonderful!

Had a good time at Samaritan, it took a couples of days to get acclimatized to the new environment, especially in the february heat, but teaching the little kids became a highly rewarding experience. The children at the schools are adorable and eager to learn. Getting to know the friendly staff of the volunteer house was also great and we had a lot of fun. I truly felt the organization has made a big impact on chamazi and the schools it supports, and i am happy to have been able to contribute to these efforts.
