All the time that I stayed in Black swan was amazing, the way they treated the volunteers is an example for any volunteer project, thank you for every single person I met and places we've been, moments like those will be remembered forever. Thank you Barcelona.

I really enjoyed my time at Black Swan Barcelona and I'm grateful for all the amazing memories I made there. The atmosphere was super fun and social, and I met a lot of great people from all around the world. The work itself was manageable and not too stressful, which left enough time to explore the city. One thing that could be improved is the room as well as the communication about the daily tasks, which was sometimes a bit confusing. Apart from that, it was a really nice experience overall, and i already miss everyone.

Helin was a lovely volunteer at Black Swan Barcelona. She was friendly, communicative, and always willing to interact with guests, creating a great atmosphere in the hostel.

At times she showed some mood changes that could lead to small misunderstandings, but overall she was kind, responsible, and pleasant to have on the team.

Black swan is a really unique & cozy hostel. After getting to know the staff and vibe, it felt like home. It's very central and close to pretty much everything. You'll never run out of interesting stories or things to do. Lucas is very understanding and respectful. I really enjoyed my time here and would love to be welcomed back.

My first time volunteering with Worldpackers! The hostel has a vibrant atmosphere, offering vegetarian dinners for guests and volunteers, plus fun activities and pub crawls. The other volunteers quickly became lifelong friends, and the staff - Agustin, Alex, Oriana, and Lucao - were absolutely exceptional. Lucas, the owner, cares for everyone with the perfect balance of professionalism and kindness, I'll be forever grateful to him for giving me the opportunity to volunteer here. Shifts are simple but require punctuality, seriousness, and respect. Highly recommend! I left my heart there ❤️

Volunteering at Black Swan was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. It was my very first time volunteering, and I couldn't have asked for a better place. The work wasn't difficult at all. The other volunteers quickly became family, and I'm so grateful for every moment we shared – I love them with my whole heart. Huge love to the pub crawl team – such incredible and fun people. And of course, a big thank you to Lucas for being such a caring and supportive manager. Black Swan will always have a special place in my heart, and I hope to be back as soon as possible. ❤️

Had an amazing time in black swan hostel – i wish i stayed there longer! for me at first the tasks were a bit challenging (especially cooking), but then you get used to it and in the end it's very easy. you work 5/6 hours per day, 5 days a week. what i liked the most were special activities – you go with guests to places like bunkers, tibidabo – it's very fun! during my stay at the hostel i met a lot of people, i made so many friends – life there is never boring! also, hostel is in a very good location. i recommend this place if you want to meet new people and have fun in barcelona!

Pase dos meses geniales! Recomiendo mucho este hostel, las instalaciones son buenas, genial para practicar ingles, es perfecto si te gusta salir de fiesta, la ubicación es muuy buena y tenes comida todos los días. Si necesitas algún día libre o horario podes hablarlo tranquilamente y te lo respetan. El cuarto de voluntarios es chico pero normal de hostel. Gracias por todo🥰🥰

This volunteering experience exceeded my expectations! The entire staff is incredibly welcoming and supportive 🩷 Tasks include cleaning, deep cleaning, housekeeping, dinner prep, and socializing with guests through fun activities outside the hostel (you also can suggest your own!!). Days off are flexible if requested in advance, and the benefits are as described here. Plus, the hostel's location is perfect! A great way to practice english and spanish, meet people worldwide, and enjoy this amazing city

This has been without a doubt the best place I have volunteered in. The staff were great, caring and respectful. The facilities were nice, clean and comfortable. The shifts were fair and fun! I ended up extending a couple more weeks because I was enjoying it so much. I got to meet a lot of incredible people and simply had the greatest time in the city. I would definitely come back and volunteer again and will 100% recommend to everyone!
