I worked at the hostel Sun instead of the hostel and I had the best experience! I'm very grateful for the team at the hostel Sun that made every day fun. It was very relaxing during low season but I also had lots of time to explore the surrounding towns!

Even though is raining season and not many guests around, being there with both managers was a lovely experience! They are very welcoming and the place is great!

This opportunity is fantastic! The accommodation was brilliant, the work hours are fair and the opportunity to meet more like minded travellers is insane! I worked at the hostel but there are 2 other hostels that are worth a visit ' the hostel sun and funky moon' johnny is a legend and so accommodating 10/10 would recommend this role and Kampot in a whole!

We had an amazing time at the hostel! Night shift whit Nell, Minea and Hang were super chill and fun didn't feel like work at all. There is a relax atmosphere, the food is amazing and the room is comfortable. Would recommend this volunteer for everyone going to Cambodia 🫶🏻❤️

Place is cozy and clean, and you truly feel welcomed. Thank you so much to Rain, Vuthy, Heng, Alex, Minea and all the others for their kindness. Working with them was so fun ! They also have some adorable dogs who really help you feel at home

Pretty chill place to start volunteer, job is pretty easy as well. You feel welcome on your first day. They have the cutest dog ever.

My experience at the hostel was amazing! The shifts were easy and the work was not that hard. I loved the two weeks I spent in Kampot, a lovely city. I really enjoyed the night shift with Minea and Chel who were very friendly and helpful and also the whole team was incredible! Would totally recommend to spend sometime at the hostel ( puppies and food are amazing and that's a plus)!

Had a lovely time in at the hostel!! the shifts are really chill and i had plenty of free time to enjoy the pool and visit the town! i really loved working mornings with rain and t (my spelling might be wrong but my appreciation for them is not), they really made me feel like i was part of the family from day one!! kampot is not a busy town but it's perfect for getting away from the chaos of big cities! big thanks to johnny for making it possible and for always making sure i was having a good time!! i'm gonna miss my days at the hostel (and the amaaaazing food provided) until next time! x
