So far so good! It's a very fun place to volunteer. Activities take place in the mornings, so you have the rest of the day free to explore Palermo. The BnB is in a central location, which makes it easy to get anywhere. Andrea is a great and fun host. Just like Giuseppe and Carmela — everyone makes you feel welcome and part of the place. It's important to know a bit of Italian to enjoy the experience more fully.

La experiencia en Palermo fue increíble. Andrea es un gran anfitrión, divertido, amable y servicial. El trabajo con Camella y Giuseppe fue muy tranquilo y divertido. Recomiendo estudiar un mínimo de italiano para pasarla super. Sin duda es una experiencia que me llevo en el corazón y no solo que volvería, sino que la recomiendo 100%.

Mi experiencia fue fantástica. Desde el primer día Giuseppe y Carmela fueron familia para mi, me sentí muy acogida y se preocuparon por si estaba bien y comía bien. También Andrea me incluyó como otra más. Las tareas consisten en ayudar en el desayuno y limpiar las habitaciones y baños. Se respetan las horas. La habitación es perfecta, bien equipada y baño privado. La ubicación también es muy buena, esta cerca del paseo marítimo, de la estación y del centro. Palermo es una ciduad que llevaré en mi corazón para siempre, junto con las personas que me han acompañado. Grazie mille!

I absolutely loved my experience! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Andrea is super fun and funny, I felt truly at home. Giuseppe and Carmela are also amazing people who will help you a lot. I highly recommend learning some basic Italian to make communication easier, but you won't regret volunteering at the guest house. Plus, the Italian food is incredible!

Overall, the experience is good. Giuseppe and Carmella are wonderful people with huge hearts. However, be prepared to spend a lot of time alone, it's not a very social environment. The room is spacious and has a private bathroom, but there was no air conditioning or fan, I had to sleep with the window open, which compromised privacy since the room is on the ground floor. Andrea is friendly, but sometimes forgot to keep the kitchen access unlocked, which can force you to eat out, so don't forget to remind him regularly. The internet is good — I recommend it for digital nomads.

The shift is only mornings starting at 7:45 helping with breakfast and cleaning. work is easy and you'll have carmela and giuseppe to help you on your daily tasks. they're great people with a big heart! italian is the only language spoken there, so it's ideal that you know at least some basic italian to communicate well with others. you're entitled for a free breakfast (same as the guests) and lunch is cooked by Andrea, it's important to communicate clearly about restrictions - if you have any. the volunteer room is very good & has a private bathroom! communication has to be improved.

Si ritorna nei luoghi in cui si è stati felici, e questo è stato il mio caso :) Con Carmela, Giuseppe e Andrea vi divertirete, mangerete deliziosi piatti tipici siciliani e ne conoscerete la cultura. i compiti sono facili e gli orari vengono rispettati. Grazie ancora !!

La casa fue maravilloso. Palermo es una ciudad increíble y me encuentro infinitamente agradecida con Andrea y todas las personas alrededor de este voluntariado por hacer de esta una experiencia inolvidable. Me llevo cada momento en mi memoria y corazón. Definitivamente deseo volver 🫶🏼

If you want to experience the local culture, this is the place! You will work with real parlemitanos and eat Italian food every day. The B&B is in the heart of the city, close to the train station and bus terminal, the sea, a nice park called Villa Giulia, and everything you need. The work is not difficult, you start your morning helping with the breakfast, mainly washing the dishes. After it, you will help cleaning the rooms! It's important you to communicate very well about everything. I think it's the only improvement point, the communication. The bedroom and bathroom are both great 👌

My time spent at the guest house was truly amazing ❤️ From the moment I arrived until I left I felt part of the family. The work is easy, it consists of helping with breakfast in the morning, cleaning the rooms and sometimes if needed you do the check ins. Andrea is a very kind & thoughtful host, he cooks the most amazing food. Carmella and Giuseppe are amazing people they are so friendly and are always ready to help. My time spent in the guest house will forever be in my heart I hope to return some day ❤️❤️❤️
