The hostel is a place with a lot of potential with one of the best views of the Medina and the mountains. The staff are very nice people always willing to help you. The tasks were very simple just cleaning and maintain the terrace. I hope to come back someday!

The hostel is the place to go! I had an amazing week here, helped by Uli who is an amazing person! The tasks were easy and you could choose when to work! It really feels like you are part of a family! Would definitely go back!

Mi experiencia en el hostel babba fue increible, mas que un hostal se sintio como un hogar, la rerraza es maravillosa y me senti muy comodo en las instalaciones, Sam es muy buena con los voluntarios y la pasamos muy bien haciendo las tareas y las comidas para todos. Es una gran experiencia! mi unica sugerencia seria poner wifi en las instalaciones.

I had a good time at the hostel ! Uli was not there so Mustapha was in charge and he is very open to ideas and cocreating the woodworking project I was there for. Scheduling can be arranged through discussion, he always has new cooking ideas and good recommendations for things to do in Chefchaouen or in the area. The volunteers sleep in a shared cabin on the roof, chill hippie vibes all around ! Sometimes dinner was a little late for me but as I said, it can be discussed. Chefchaouen is a beautiful town, the mountains look majestic, and it is easy to get to know the hostel guests =)

I can explore Chefchouen. the hostel is a pleasant place with a beautiful view of Chefchouen. I came during Ramadan and Mustafa was very good. there's nothing missing in my opinion. Thank you ULI for the opportunity.

Aunque la terraza con vista a la Medina es espectacular, el concepto de hostal económico que maneja el anfitrión, para mi forma de ver es equívoco. Sábanas y platos rotos, estufa en mal estado, espumas para camas y sofás rotas y sin forros de protección que garantizan la higiene. Las comidas que se ofrecen en el voluntariado aparecen muy de vez en cuando y la forma de dirigir el trabajo por parte del anfitrión es aveces desagradable. Realmente no me sentí cómodo con el trato. El egoísmo del anfitrión es lo que prima en el ambiente de este voluntariado. No lo recomiendo.

I enjoyed my experience at the hostel! The manager Mostapha was extremely friendly and always willing to help me learn more about Morocco and the Chefchaouen area. While Uli was there he was also friendly and clear about the tasks that needed completing, and the work was usually simple. The only complaint I had was the general cleanliness of the hostel when I arrived, but it started to improve during my stay there. Overall I had very interesting and rewarding experience at the hostel and would highly recommend it!

I had a good time in the hostel ! Uli was not here so Mustapha was managing the day to day, he is very open to ideas and flexible on scheduling. We created a few basic pieces of furniture and did a lot of cooking, which was really fun even though sometimes until late. We corrected the shot after a few days. We had dinner together with the (at the time) 2 winter guests in this happy hippie place and that created a cool bond between everyone ! We slept in a cabin on the roof, but if the weather goes bad, space can be made to sleep inside. A very nice time in a beautiful town =)
