The stay and time was awesome. Met a lot of nice and cool people. The work is very easy to get and the staff is really lovely:) I had great time there. It is the perfect if you like going out!!!!! I am going to return one day for sure!! Obrigada por tudo!

The hostel was a truly life changing experience, the staff and the volunteers are wonderful people, that became family, that are very welcoming and kind, the work itself is busy and takes a bit of a learning curve to adapt, but the staff and the volunteers are a true community and makes the whole experience so worthwhile! Rio is beautiful, the location of the hostel is amazing, the activities are amazing, that are so many different people from all kinds of parts in the world, the diversity and atmosphere are amazing!

Perfect location to live the best life in Rio❤️ Has everything you need close (beach, drugstore, supermarket, gym, good restaurants, mall). Hostel has a very good structure, great maintenance and cleaning staff, so its very clean (which i think is super important). Amazing ppl working heree... i loved all volunteers and employees!!✨️ Its been 4 amazing months so i would for sure recomend this hostel for everyonee!!! Especially if youre looking the hostel for a party vibe social experience, meeting ppl all over the world, making friends!!! Also, im vegan and the food they give has options for us too!

I only stayed a few days because it was not what I expected. First day working I was told to just watch the other person work the whole day, but it was meaningless. I got no responsibility. This does not work for me but other people might like it. I didn't like the rooms either, mine smelled bad and the ac didn't work, too small space to stay for a month. I don't think that the people were welcoming and the vibe was off. When I told the girl who "hired" me that I wanted to leave she didn't even want to talk about why. I think this sais a lot! No will to communicate with me.

We are sorry for your dissatisfaction.
You didn't stay long enough to take on more responsibilities, you announced at the last minute that you would leave
You got late for the first shift and showed up for the second 3 hours after the start of the shift.
We warned you that another late arrival would not be tolerated, we put you on a different schedule and you simply said you would leave.
Our volunteer proposal for non-Portuguese speakers is to assist at the reception, which is why you didn't receive many tasks during the two-day period you stayed.

Lá verdad que el lugar y la ubicación son inmejorables. Mi trabajo era el de guía turística, y para mí resultó un poco duro ya que era trilha tras trilha, y prece que no cansa pero terminaba destruida, creo que hace falta un día más de descanso pra ese trabajo. Igualmente yo el mes que estuve fue maravilloso, conocí a gente increíble y las instalaciones son magníficas. Además de que tienes un montón de fiestas y tragos gratis. Y los compañeros y el ambiente de trabajo es muy bueno, como el café de la mañana que es increíble. Quien vaya seguro lo va a pasar genial

The experience at the hostel was great! Working hours and days off we're flexible, the location was amazing and the rest of the crew received me very well. There is always something fun going on and it's super easy to get to know new people. The shifts are usually very chill. Can definitely recommend to anyone (especially if you like going out ;) )

Could have been a really good place to volunteer but I felt the vibe was not very welcoming or friendly. There isn't a nice family vibe with ppl taking care of each other, it was the opposite. Management was toxic and didn't speak to us with respect. Really not a great environment Podría haber sido un buen lugar para hacer voluntariado, pero las vibras no son buenas. No me sentía de bienvenida y algunas personas eran más o menos tóxicas. No había como un ambiente familiar de viajeros cuidándonos el uno al otro, era lo contrario. La gerencia también muchas veces nos trataba sin respeto
