This was my first volunteer experience and what an experience it's been! I really enjoyed my time and wish I could've stayed longer. I actually enjoyed it so much that I'll come back for Halloween just to see the other volunteers again! The tasks were quite straightforward, mainly centered around prepping fruits and veggies for breakfast and ensuring everything was clean afterwards. The shifts typically ran from 7 to 12, but we usually wrapped up by 11, leaving us with some extra time. All in all, it was a great experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others!

My stay at the hostel was truly some of the best weeks of my life. I worked in the hostel and had an absolute blast- the employees always looked out for me and made sure I was having a good time. The work is simple and straightforward. I loved the setup for the volunteers; having our own kitchen, outdoor space, tv area, and shared room encouraged socializing. Going grocery shopping with our weekly allowance also helped us grow closer. We were like a little family here. Bruges itself is such a peaceful city too- I would reccomend coming here if you are looking for a chill stay and a few party nights!

This place it's perfect if your looking for party and get to know new people. It's well located. The breakfast included, the discounts at the hostel and the weekly food it's a great help. Bruges it's a small town so you can get bored by the first week. I got to know really special people that's gonna be forever in my heart. I highly recommend this place, they are really flexible :)

This was my first volunteering and I couldn't be more happy. I had a great time with the others volunteers. I was in the breakfast team and the tasks were easy. The staff is really nice and flexible about schedule. Also, I had some pleasant surprises like the weekly money for groceries. My only comment would be to improve the introduction process to the tasks, because there's none. I highly recommend the hostel for your first experience volunteering.

I loved my time at the hostel, the work is easy and you get heaps of free time to enjoy Bruges and surrounding cities. It was an amazing place to meet people from all over the world. The grocery money was an unexpected bonus.

Mi experiencia en el hostel ha sido inolvidable. ¡Los días allí pasaron volando! Gracias a su magnifica ubicación, he podido desplazarme a conocer un poquito de Alemania, Países Bajos y otros puntos de Bélgica. Los miembros del staff son atentos, detallistas y se preocupan por nuestro bienestar en todo momento. Nos dieron aún más de lo acordado en la plataforma. A pesar de la barrera del idioma y de ser la única voluntaria que no hablaba inglés, les he cogido cariño a todos y no descarto volver en otro momento con algo más de nivel en el idioma para poder disfrutar de la experiencia al 100%.

My time at the hostel was marvelous. Everyone treated me very nice and they really respected my working hours. There is always a fun environment to hang out with people from other countries and make new friends. Also Brugge is one of the most special cities of Europe and is worth spending a few weeks there. Hope to some day come back :)

My experience at the hostel was awesome!! I would definitely recommend it if you are looking to meet new people, visit the beautiful Bruges and have a great time with the team. The breakfast shift is easy, you work in a team during the morning and then you have the rest of the day to enjoy as you want. The staff is nice and flexible if you need to arrange your days off and you can spend a very nice time at the hostel's the hostel (where you will receive discounts as well) each night. Thank you!!!💛
