After staying for almost two months I understand why everyone recommends the experience. Everything established in the profile is fulfilled, you are with a family where you feel cared for, facing the sea and the tasks are relatively simple. When it came to food we made a list that was always respected. They also have activities to do in both Livadi and Himare.

Working at Toneas cafe was an unforgettable experience and I will miss it a lot. Niki and Lambis did an amazing job at making me feel welcome and they were so generous to all of us. They are always looking for ways to improve their small business and are open to our new ideas from us volunteers which is great! The hours and the work were fair and the cafe is right across from the beach which is a bonus. Thank you guys for having me! I had the best time and will hopefully return one day 💗

Ha sido mi primera experiencia en WP y realmente vale la pena venir a este rincón de Albania. El lugar, aunque es pequeño, tienes muchas opciones de visitar playas muy bonitas. También hay otros locales con voluntarios por lo que también tienes la opción de hacer otros planes diferentes. Niki y Lambi (los propietarios) son gente trabajadora con muchas ganas de sacar adelante este proyecto, y puedes aprender muchas cosas con el trabajo. Σας ευχαριστώ <3

Volunteering as a housekeeper at a guesthouse in Albania was enriching. I practiced English and Spanish, learned about the local culture and the hospitality business. Niki, Lambis, little Marieta, and their family were very kind and welcoming. The stunning beaches and majestic mountains of Albania made it the perfect setting. I met amazing people and gained lifelong skills. I highly recommend this experience for personal and professional growth. :)

I spent 3 months with Nicky and Lambi at Toneas and it was AMAZING! ❤️ They made me feel like family, I really felt like a local! They are wonderful people and hosts, always trying their best to make us feel at home. The place is a paradise. The work is easy but demands commitment. The hours are respected and the accomodation is comfy and private. I was a waiter and barista, which made it easy to interact with other travelers and locals. I learned a lot about the work, Greek culture and even some Greek! Most importantly, I feel like I got friends for life ❤️ Ευχαριστώ πολύ 🙏🏻

Es una excelente experiencia para conocer la cultura griega (ya que los anfitriones lo son) y aprovechar el día junto a la playa, si te gusta nadar es el lugar ideal!. Niki, Lambis y la pequeña Marieta fueron buenos anfitriones. El lugar para dormir es cómodo, seguro y solo compartes cocina y baño con los demás voluntarios. Volvería sin duda!

It's a truly enchanting place with an incredible atmosphere next to the sea. During my month-long stay, I formed a strong bond with the wonderful people there. My responsibilities included cleaning, housekeeping, occasional assistance at their café bar, and also painting. Their patience and kindness made me feel like part of their family. Mi experiencia en la casa fue maravillosa, no me quiero ir, es un lugar demasiado agradable rodeado de naturaleza, hermosos paisajes y hermosas playas para visitar, Niki y Lambi son los mejores anfitriones, son ambles, divertidos y atentos y Marietta es la niña más dulce que sin duda se ganará tu corazón , durante mi tiempo aquí fue mi cumpleaños y me prepararon una sorpresa y fue bastante especial para mi. Me divertí muchísimo en mi tiempo aquí, espero volver muy pronto❤️

Lamentablemente el lugar no cumple con lo que promete y el ambiente no es honestamente agradable, utilizan a los voluntarios como mano de obra barata. quisiera especificar mas pero worldpackers por algun motivo elimina mi reseña si pongo situaciones especificas.

Mi experiencia en Toneas la casa fue increiblemente bella. Me senti en familia en un lugar muy bonito y acogedor. Lambis y Niki siempre me hicieron sentir comoda y valorada. El lugar para dormir era cómodo y con cocina. Loa desayunos eran deliciosos y luego podiamos cocinar lo que quisieramos con los alimentos que nos traian. Una experiencia única frente a la playa mas bonita de Albania. Una oportunidad única para descubrir este bello país. Gracias por ser mi hogar tan lejos de casa. ❤️ me senti muy segura y vivi experiencias muy lindas! Volvere:)
