El voluntariado no fue lo esperado tanto el ambiente que se genera con los huéspedes como el staff los manager están dispuestos a escuchar pero no se hará nada al respecto una noche nos hicieron dormir en el área común donde se encontraban todos de fiesta y cama no había. también me pusieron un turno de más en la semana, por suerte uno de los recepcionistas lo solucionó. recepcionistas y martina muy buenos! pero el resto del staff no tanto….

Well, we send you expectations that you accepted with all info about hostel. Also we changed this when we realised that you had extra ,it is not made on purpose. But i just think you did not fit here. And just as note in life things happened so try not to see negative in all.

Equipo muy amable, creo que si te gustan las fiestas lo disfrutarás mucho! Si quieres recorrer te sugiero plantearlo a los anfitriones para que puedan acomodar tu horario.

Did not follow the agreed upon position or hours. Offer said 2 days off, given 1 day off. Was supposed to be party promoting and bartending, but it was making beds. Put up with that until I saw they had bedbugs. When brought to attention, they said "I'll believe it when I see it" even though I showed a picture. Then, was told by other staff there were bed bugs a few days before in the staff apartment I was in. So not taken seriously. Staff apartment is 30 minute walk from the hostel. Yelled at for taking a break. Do not recommend. Seemed fun for the partiers, but not workers.

Sorry you had a bad experience. You remember things differently to what actually happened. But one thing you shouldn’t do, is walk out when your shift is starting. That’s not an adult way to resolve things. But all the best.

Buen lugar a ir, bonita Ciudad buen lugar para conocer. Es fácil llegar hasta el Hostel. Debes considerar que no siempre tendrás el mismo horario de trabajo, puede que te toque trabajar en la mañana, tarde o noche! También puedes hablarlo. Habitación de voluntarios muy pequeña para 4 personas, no tenía llave disponible de la puerta ni de los locker. Tienen desayunos gratis. En términos generales muy bien! Hana es un amor de persona gracias por tu humildad y buen trato. Martina (Tina) gran persona que les ayudará en lo que necesiten Excelente trabajadora muy querida ella.

This volunteer experience was okay, but there were some things that didn't sit well with us. Overall, there was a lack of communication from management. No one sent us the schedule when we first arrived and they assumed twice that I could work extra hours (and scheduled me for extra hours) without asking me first. We stayed in three different places during our three weeks, which made it challenging to get settled and the communication about these plans and moves was poor. We were ultimately moved to a room for volunteers that had bugs and no locks for the lockers or the room itself.

Hello, good afternoon, I want to report that I just had a discussion with the person in charge, Patrick, from the hostel Wilde Word Hostel, who was speaking to me with orders in very bad taste, like how I couldn't eat badly, even though I hadn't had lunch, alone. Until the end of the shift, which is from 4 to 6 since I was not involved in any paperwork, clean the bathrooms, corridors, stairs glass, take the guests to their rooms. I opened the door for a break, he told me that I could do it until the shift ended and I told him 1 minute: he yelled at me and disrespected me and he couldn't allow .

It was my first time volunteering and it was an amazing experience! Everyone on the team was the best: Cracker!, Petra, Filip, Patrick, Marc, Luca.. I only have positive words and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to meet new people, practice their English and specially having fun and party everyday! I'm sure I will be back soon!

Joaquin was very nice and organized person. He helped us mostly in cleaning duties but also going night shifts that show the trust we had with him and that he was responsable person. It was very easy to communicate with him and make plans. I would recommend him for anyone.

This was my first worldpackers experience, & I don't think I could've asked for a better one. From the minute I got there I felt so welcomed and at home. Petra, Cracker, Filip, Patrik, literally all the managers and other staff are such an amazing group of fun, loving people. The hours and tasks are very accurate to what is outlined, and there's great communication throughout the hostel team in case things happen. They truly want you to have a great time there. the hostel really became like a second home to me in my time here, & I can 100% say I will be back one day soon, Ninjas 4lyfe!!

Its definetly a must if you are thinking about volunteering in Europe. All the staff is incredible nice and you can ask anything that they are ready to help you without any doubt. Thank you WWW🫶🏻

Working in www hostel was the best experience, It was never boring we were always going out, partying and having fun together, the staff and the volunteers added so much in my experience and I felt really welcomed. It's a great place to make new friends and make good memories, and the city is amazing! I'll definitely go back one day
