If you came to this place to learn about sustainability and learn about local food this will NOT be your place. The daily task will variate according theirs needs, which are not very organized, so is good to know that you should be fully advocate to this place.

What´s to say? Some people don´t fit to each other.

This is how we have perceived the volunteer: First time working after 3 days past arrival to have enough time to acclimate to the new environment. First job was to assist in our farm shop (own and purchased day to day products). First complain: she is too qualified for this job. First job in our café: She claimed being an educated barista, unfortunately this did not prove to be true according to her performance. She showed no further interest in service (serving self-baked cake, own coffee, freindly guests and great team) even though she applied for a position in service. Our team tried to offer help - no interest shown. We offered to join our farm team to learn about sustainability from the scratch as we grow cows, pigs, chickens, and geese ourselves, we slaughter them ourselves, and process them into products for our farm shop as well as for cooking in our restaurant.
Nevertheless, we wish her all the best with her next worldpacker experiences.
