I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. The hostel is super nice, breakfast is amazing, and everyone is very kind. I painted 6 murals there, which was such a special chance to share my art. I also met a lot of people and became close with the other volunteers, it made the experience unforgettable.

This was the BEST volunteer experience I had! The hostel is new and clean, it has everything you need and more. Very chill vibes. The staff is very very friendly and helpful, truly amazing people. Regarding the tasks, the work is very easy and straightforward. They let you work freely without pressure. The only downside is not having a staff room, sharing a room with guests can be tricky. Overall, I would 100% recommend this position to other volunteers. I already miss the hostel 🫶🏽

Tuve una estancia muy agradable, todos me trataron muy bien, por estar cerca del centro pude conocer todos los lugares cercanos, conocí muchísimas personas increíbles, me divertí mucho, lo único que no fue lo planeado es que me mandaron al hostal del centro y no al que sale en el anuncio.

I had such a lovely time volunteering with the hostel!! Timetable is issued in advanced so it's easy to plan your time off, I managed to visit a couple islands and fully explore the city. We shared dorms with guests and the bar was always lively so it was easy to make friends. Tasks were simple and the bartenders were fun to work with. All the staff were really welcoming, there is always someone ready to help you out with any issue. Overall, had such a great experience :)

I had a great time, but I'm sure experience differs based on amount of other volunteers ( we had 5, but when I initially arrived we were just 2) and hostel assigned. I was at the hostel, the accommodations were clean and modern (free breakfast, coffee, drinks, laundry), other volunteers were great, and shifts were short and easy. Easy to make friends at the hostel bar and 5 mins from the metro so you can easily explore Athens. We could also go to the hostel whenever, which was nice since they had a more social rooftop. Would have been nice to have a volunteer only room but overall great experience!

Staying here was my first volunteer experience and I really enjoyed it. Other volunteers and employees made me feel welcome and the place became like a home within a month. The tasks were easy and you could take breaks if needed. I met amazing people and this trip will always be in my mind! 🫶🏻🥰

My experience at Athens Hawk the hostel was great! - The hostel team and volunteers were all welcoming and friendly. - Tasks are simple and match what was agreed upon: morning and afternoon shifts consist of washing the dishes at the kitchen and evening/night shifts at the bar you also have smaller simple tasks such as getting ice, making change, locking up at the end, etc. - The schedule is sent weekly so you can plan visits to other islands on your days off. - Room is super comfortable, and you can use the gym and all other facilities. - Location is close to metro but in a quiet neighborhood.

Such a good experience!! The social life was 10/10, meeting so many people every day and the rooftop bar made this place alive!!! You can walk to anywhere from the hostel and has great connections:)

My stay at the hostel was very pleasant, the rooms are great and clean, the tasks are simple and I made friends that I will keep for life. I want to give a special thanks to the chefs and Nikiforos who were super kind and helpful.

I am very grateful to have had the hostel host me for my first volunteer experience. The tasks are exactly as listed, simple jobs helping behind the bar or in the breakfast area. Communication regarding what exactly is expected of the volunteers could be a bit better, but I had no issue figuring it out by the end of my first shift. The hostel itself is very lively, an amazing place to meet new people. I've made some lifelong friends on my trip and will definitely be visiting again!
